I know countless people who still have to work tirelessly and countless hours just to pay rent. They’re in their late 20s-30s, no saving, and are still single because “they haven’t had time to look for a partner” because of their job. When I ask what their family is doing most say their parents are wealthy, retired, and having a blast. When I ask them why their family won’t help them out so they can find a partner, their answer is always “they don’t believe in hand outs, I could never ask them for help”. The boomers have successfully nuked their blood lines by hoarding all the wealth, telling their children they have to start at zero while they giggle and give all their money away to some “cause” or spend it on themselves. They had no values, no long term vision, they taught “independence” over family while telling their kids they’re worthless if they don’t get rich. This is a gigantic, existential misstep and it all falls completely on the shoulders of boomer fathers. A truly clueless generation.
