There are 38 countries represented at @HighlandESHawks! 🌍 It was a beautiful day to celebrate this diversity ☀️ with their Parade of Diverse Cultures. Participating students dressed in traditional clothing, waved flags, and were cheered on by students, staff, and families! 🙌

It warmed my heart today to see so many of my students as we had our teacher parade along our bus routes! They were so excited to see us and we felt the same!

Today, we are reading Wacky Wednesday, so we dressed wacky!

Yesterday we read Fox in Socks and wore crazy socks!

We wore black and white for Dr. Seuss day! Of course I used many of his books to teach today. Cat in the Hat-rhymes and problem/solution, Mr. Brown Can Moo-Onomatopoeias, and Sneetches- Be yourself and don't judge! @HighlandESHawks

I wanted to inspire my kids for Black History month. I wore a different Black History shirt each day(except picture day). The kids loved coming in to read my shirts. @smithfarmes
