@Dave20863230209 @DanielTurnerPTF @atensnut International oil companies drill out US oil and then sell that oil to whoever will pay them most on the international market. If the supply is low in the rest of the world due to, say, a war in Iran, then the price goes up due to global shortages, regardless of where it’s from.
English

@DanielTurnerPTF @atensnut 😆 those gas prices are Congress's responsibility. The U.S. produces it's own oil so world markets should not affect gas prices in America.
English

In 2021, Joe Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said, “The president does not control the price of gasoline.”
What changed?
House Democrats@HouseDemocrats
Average gas prices are $4.54 because of Donald Trump.

@YesWeCrann As a keeper, people will miss what makes that 3rd one so amazing. The slight deflection at that distance means that he had to shift his body position in mid air to get his hands to it.
The others are all epic saves but some of the distance ones are ones you can predict a bit.

@WWEGareth Wrestling has to be the entire circus show. There has to be something there for everyone. If every match was a technical or high flying clinic vying to be spot fest of the night or high stakes drama, you’d get bored of it.
You need something to lighten the mood and this was it.
English

This is what I was worried about
There's silliness in wrestling, but then there's too much of it

@TheGameVerse How is this post a thing when the literal game of the year for 2025 was a single player game? - Expedition 33.
In fact, the last game to win game of the year that wasn’t primarily a single player game was It takes two in 2021 (Elden Ring, BG3, Astrobot and E33 since)
English

@garrypickles @agmccEcosse @Keir_Starmer So you’re just not going to answer the question I’ve asked you multiple times? OK, so there’s no point in having a conversation with you as all you want to do is scream a single point and ignore any question
I don’t work in politics, but stop just lying going “it’s getting worse”
English

More tergiversation, the chart is rising again. UP AGAIN, FACTS WIN. It went down then it turned and it’s rising again, that’s the reality, pick your baseline and your end point and link the Home Office table, also show the month by month path to “end by 2026” with targets and delivery dates.

Shameful.
I’m incredibly proud that this government has scrapped the cruel two child limit.
Reform wants to push hundreds of thousands of children into poverty.

@garrypickles @agmccEcosse @Keir_Starmer Selective timeframe? It’s the timeframe that they’ve had to do anything with it. It is down from what they inherited and the policies in place to end it by the end of 2026.
But going back to my original point, what do YOU expect to be done with legal points in mind?
English

@StarmanNWC @agmccEcosse @Keir_Starmer Let us be precise. From the summit of 56,018 in Sept 2023 the number fell, yet from June 2024 at 29,585 it has risen to 36,273 by Sept 2025. One demand, state your baseline and your end point and cite the Home Office return. This is spin by selective timeframe.

@garrypickles @agmccEcosse @Keir_Starmer Simple Google AI search shows the trend is down from the high under the tories in 2023, with new immigration policies and alternative plans in place to use barracks instead of hotels. But them sorting this issue over time doesn’t suit this platform’s narrative

English

How touching. “They looked at” and “they have reduced” Very well, let us see the receipts, how many hotels remain, the weekly burn rate and the timetable to end them, otherwise this is complicity by inertia.
A duty to provide shelter is not a duty to overpay contractors. If Labour has reduced the hotel use then publish the before and after figures, hotels in use, people housed and weekly cost, put it in the record and we can judge delivery.
English

@garrypickles @agmccEcosse @Keir_Starmer What exactly do you expect to happen? Labour inherited a massive backlog with a legal requirement to provide food and shelter for those claiming asylum until processed. They have reduced that list, ended sevral hotel uses and looked at using unused military sites to reduce bills
English

@agmccEcosse @Keir_Starmer Same excuse different badge, 18 months in and the hotel bill is still there, the buck stops with the government in office, one figure, how many hotels are in use today vs day one and what is the current weekly cost ?
English

@dangitman50 @lucky_ruby @gotrice2024 If they repeatedly break the fence then the owner is liable for criminal damage via neglect of animals. Recieving court summons and bills on a regular basis would give them incentive and might actually cause the courts to consider taking the dogs from them due to the neglect.
English

@lucky_ruby @gotrice2024 You have the right direction, but not the whole solution. Simply fixing the wooden fence would probably last a week or two, with those dogs tearing apart the fence again. She needs a different kind of fence that can resist the dogs damaging it or digging under it.
English

This woman is afraid of her neighbor’s dogs. They keep breaking through the fence, when she complains to the neighbor, they offer no help, they tell her to call the pound. The dogs come into the yard and try to attack her dog, they urinate everywhere and try to enter her dog door into her home and tried to eat her cats.
At this point she feels she’s exhausted all of her options. Is there anything else she can do at this point, what would you do?
English

@TWFootball1867 On another note, what percentage of our goals conceded are at the 70 minute or later? It feels like the constantly having to play the same players in each game is leaving exposed at the end of the game.
English

Can I just say, 13 hours without a goal isn't normal.
In the first round of the FA cup, if look at all of the non league Vs championship/PL teams, there are goals scored.
And it's not like we've been unlucky, we've not scored in 13 hours and we've got exactly what we should have. We've average averaged 0.3 xG in this period. The highest xG we've had since we last scored a goal was 0.71, against Bristol city. The only game we've averaged above 0.5.
0.06 through 80 minutes today.
And it's 14 hours really if you count the postponed Blackburn game mid match.
English

@TheMagicAnswer @BROKENBRITAIN0 I remember another right wing party in history coming and telling the people that they were different to every other politician and that they would change the system based on radical nationalism and distrust of immigrants and minority groups, THEY were a third way

@BROKENBRITAIN0 As I've been saying for a year. Reform UK is UK's last hope.
Anyone who isn't in support is a fool.
English

@thewritingdev @NeilDotObrien Isn’t that kind of the point about upgrading the rails and electrifying it? Less breakdowns, faster service and more reliability in general.
English

@NeilDotObrien The first thing they should focus on is fixing the reliability of the trains first.
A lot of trains don't arrive, and even if they do, get cancelled before the final stop.

@miraricielador @ShitpostRock I try to play a variety of games, I look at narrative, gameplay and the feel of the game above anything else. Elden Ring is a great game but the fact that you put Arc Raiders on a list of games people will talk about for years speaks volumes.
English

@StarmanNWC @ShitpostRock a product for everyone is a product for no one
the game is good. but it will never be remembered like elden ring or arc raiders or bloodborne or bungie halo.
feels very propped by the games industry because of their failure to make anything good they gota orbit this
English

@solojke_ @ShitpostRock Through the link with Kepler interactive. They’re a publishing arm that links together independent studios and has links to some of the best voice actors around today.
Starr, Cox, English and Serkis were all brought in through them.
English

@miraricielador @ShitpostRock Clearly haven’t tried the game or even seen the combat system then…
It’s a brilliant blend of turn based and real time. It’s got something for everyone.
