if you’re scared of meningitis, you should also be scared of covid, which is much more prevalent and contagious, and can result in the same debilitating sequelae like hearing loss, brain damage, kidney failure, and a multitude of other things. both are airborne, so wear a mask.

And lastly, N95 masks have been repeatedly proven to protect the wearer against viral infection & even plain surgical masks are shown to slow spread when worn by an infectious person.

@ecamillus1 @SteveLovesAmmo Something was wrong with the front landing gear that made it unable to be positioned properly & the wheel to roll. The gear scraping on the ground was what was causing the sparks/flames.

Could mean consciously pushing some off button OR could mean doing anything that causes the system to turn off.

The original compliance deadline was 2008, but kept being extended, 1st because states weren't ready & then Covid. It was never intended to prove citizenship.

@AskNoMansLand @RealBarabbas Go read the legislation. It specifies that only a real ID that indicates citizenship (aka Enhanced Real ID) is acceptable w/o a matching birth certificate or passport. Ohio is not one of the 5 states that have enhanced Real ID thus Ohio real ID does NOT meet the SAVE standard.

Where do you get that the Ohio REAL ID driver license does not meet the SAVE ACT Standard? Did you ask your local elections clerk? You are a citizen, right? Here's how it works: You submit your proof of citizenship records to the DMV. They scan the document and grant access to your elections clerk. Your elections clerk verifies your voter registration with your driver license record and viola! they have your proof of citizenship. That's how a clerk gets them. A lot of this is obvious to those of us who have commercial licenses, federally regulated, but normal people aren't aware how much backend information is shared behind the scenes between government agencies. For example, many truck drivers know their medical cert is not printed on their license, but it is on record, and the highway patrol can see it. Truck drivers know their hazmat expiration status isn't printed on the license, it's in the state record. Many truck drivers know they can use a commercial license as a TSA precheck document. None of this is printed on the license, but all of it is on record at the licensing agency, and any government entity can access it to verify the status. That's why your Ohio REAL ID meets the qualifications required by the SAVE Act.
