Cincinnati comes to an agreement with Wes Miller in which Miller will get 3.1 million, source told @TheFieldOf68. The deal was that Miller would get 4.9 million as of April 1, but this buyout allows him to be able to get another head job and get paid 3.1 mil.

If Wes Miller is the guy, he would be our best hire on paper in any sport since… ever? @kevinwhite777 Would get an A+ on his first two tests as Charlotte AD.

Speculation, but Wes Miller is a hot name in our search. Charlotte is on an island for east coast mid-major openings at this time. We need to move fast before other openings give us competition.

Translation: Charlotte would have never been favored at any point this season against a hypothetical Average team on a neutral court.

Charlotte entered ZERO game days with a positive Adjusted Efficiency Margin, according to KenPom, reaching a peak of -0.1 following the January 30th victory over Rice.

Our new AD, @kevinwhite777, has a chance to start fresh. The meat of our donor base went to Charlotte as a basketball school. Letting the program rot for another season with no action is how he gets off to the worst possible start as our AD.

Coach Fearne will never breakthrough into the tournament without addressing our defense. This was the 2nd year in a row we’ve barely been a Top 300 defense. Where was the urgency to correct this? Why should we believe it would be corrected next year or ever under Fearne’s watch?

Looking at the 2025-26 numbers to see what we got right and wrong this season.

Many in the conference underperformed not the other way around. Based on advanced metrics Charlotte finished the season exactly where we were predicted to finish.

I can’t give a passing grade to a whole season based on 2 days of competence. The AD cannot expect fans to endure a 9th year of the same philosophy that has failed over and over again to finish the job.

Winning 3 games in 3 days is not easy. But we saw the previous 2 days what level this team was capable of playing, but today we saw the level that showed up the nights turned comfortable leads into nail-biters or even losses.
