FEMALE INITIATE ALLEGEDLY STOPPED FROM ENTERING HER HOME BY HER CHRISTIAN BROTHER IN GA - MATHIBELA ZEBEDIELA - The Police were called to the scene of a family dispute where a female initiate was allegedly stopped from entering her home by her brother. The incident occurred at Ga - Mathibela village in Zebediela in the Lepelle-Nkumpi on Saturday morning. The female initiate was reportedly returning home from the initiation school in the area this morning following the closure of initiation schools in the province. However a moment of joy turned into dispute after the brother allegedly stopped her sister from entering the yard, claiming that his family practices the Christian faith and are churgoers at the Zion Christian Church. According to information, the brother allegedly disapproved of his sister's decision to go to the initiation school, claiming the rite of passage for any other person is through believing in God and practicing Christian beliefs. The community members called the police to defuse the situation.
