We have the captains of Holland, Hungary, Egypt, Scotland and Japan in our squad. As well as occasional captain of Northern Ireland. Then add experienced double title winner Allison Becker. That's what makes this season so concerning.

#LFC don't have enough leaders and made a mistake with Rio Ngumoha liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…

@Wrexham_AFC Your story is fantastic but stay in the Championship because there's more of this to come if you make it to the Premier League. VAR is a cancer on the game that needs crushing.
English

@sophielouisecc What about those who work the polling stations 7am to 10pm, live in another ward and can't leave. No postal vote for them? Why only armed forces, what about oil rig workers l, long distance lorry drivers or many other jobs taking people away from home for 24 hours. Your an idiot.
English

I spent all day saying this yesterday.
We need to ban postal voting.
Only those with documented and evidenced mobility issues or our armed forces, should get a postal vote
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage
Our electoral system needs reform, we must scrap postal voting unless absolutely necessary, and we must enforce the right to a secret ballot. If nothing changes, I fear for the future of British democracy. telegraph.co.uk/opinion/2026/0…

@darrengrimes I would love to see this by election run again because your lack of grace in defeat has shown you for what you are. You'd lose by more than 4000 votes next time.
English

@darrengrimes Muslims may make up 27% of the constituency population but they will not make up that portion of the electorate as many will not be eligible to vote. Instead of whining, ask why so many white British electors did not vote for your vile candidate.
English

@DavidWoodhead26 @HJB_News__ Because the ballot box is sealed and within reach of the presiding officer, and nobody can go in the poll booth with voters unless it's to assist a disabled person, nominated by them. You do realise synagogues are used as polling stations too?
English

@HJB_News__ How can we be 100% certain that those within the mosque don't tamper with the vote to make sure an islamist wins the election..I don't think we can, I think this is a very bad move, but, A typical of Starmer & his need for the muslim vote, bought with, currently 4million quid

@darrengrimes When Lineker speaks out you say stick to football. When Ratcliffe does you applaud him. He is a tax dodger colonising Monaco. Old Trafford couldn't operate on matchday without economic migrants in the stewarding and catering roles.
English

@MadDogBrit @darrengrimes Who the judge was is irrelevant. It was a jury that cleared them.
English

@MrManojShetty @darrengrimes The judge did not find them not guilty, a jury did.

@Steve_Laws_ Third worlders, many of whom are bilingual already. If you sat in a classroom you'd get a hell of a shock seeing how clever the kids with foreign parents are.
English

No coincidence when half the kids are third worlders

@TRobinsonNewEra Looks Somali or from Sudan why are they in the UK should be sent back as soon as their feet touch our beaches.

@28virgo @darrengrimes @UKLabour This man is from Trinidad and entered the country legally under a Tory govt then claimed asylum. Labour rejected his claim but he appealed. That said, his sentence for such a horrific crime is way too lenient.
English

@darrengrimes Every rape ,every physical assault ,every murder ,every robbery ,every knife attack lies firmly at the feet of this @UKLabour govt .

NEW: An asylum claimant staying in a Bournemouth asylum hotel has been jailed for 7 years for raping a young woman in her own home.
Eligible for release after two-thirds.
The victim: “destroyed my sense of safety… ‘life-changing pain and trauma’.”
This is what “asylum hotels” are importing into our communities.
No early release for rapists. Deportation should be automatic — and fast.

English

@liverbirdjen If Guehi really wanted to join LFC, he would have rejected the City move, stayed put and said he'll leave for LFC as a free agent in the summer. They're welcome to him.
English

@darrengrimes Occasionally speaking at private events is somewhat different from Farage and his 3 times a week GB News show. If the rules ever come into force she couldn't do it so you're talking shite by saying she'll continue whilst imposing them on others.
