Did you play this classic back in the day? Wings (1990) was Cinemware's last game - and maybe also their best? I know, the argument can be made for Defender of the Crown or It came from the Desert, but in terms of graphics, music, design and immersion, Wings felt absolutely awesome. The career mode and mission briefing felt like an old school movie. It was also brutally hard, especially the dogfights... Cinemaware didn't have the longest of runs and I always wondered how a team that created so many hits was not able to last longer. I know, people will bring up the argument of "too many illegal copies in the 80s and 90s" and while that's valid, it also applied to all, not just Cinemaware. Certainly a shame that they only lasted from 1986 to 1991.
