I am seeing two growing groups (albeit small) in my circle. Both don't bode well for the GOP: The over 40 group are to the point were they just want to burn it all down and we'll fix it when it all falls apart. That is probably our Gen X mentality. We are moving further out of town, buying property and becoming more self-reliant. The under 40 crowd doesn't see a good future with either party. And, they are leaning toward the Democrats. One young man said, "Since I am getting screwed by both sides, I might as well vote D because they at least give me stuff and pay for the Uber afterwards."

I would give him a 6 at best. He is doing really well on deregulation and securing the border. Everything else, meh to horrible. No mass deportations, debt growing like crazy, no arrests (Epstein or otherwise), started a new conflict in the ME, and him backing Glyphosate pissed off every mom I know. All are major drags.

The GOP is endorsing candidates in primaries now so non-sycophants can't compete. So, primaries are a joke now. To make it worse Trump didn't debate so now politicians are just skipping debates. Example here in AZ: Lake refused to debate Lamb in the primary = Low turnout for her. Hobbs is now trying to dodge debates using the Trump defense of claiming people know her policies because she is currently in office = No change to show how bad she is.

We are seeing the parties starting to endorse their candidates it the primaries. This anointing of preferred candidates has turned people off the parties because non-sychophants can't compete against the machine. Then, these "anoited ones" don't participate in debates to defend their positions. We saw this with Trump and Lake (here is AZ). What should we vote when our choices are Left-Leaning Uni-Party of Right-Leaning Uni-Party?

If you want to send a message, you send it by voting for hard-right candidates in the Republican primaries. You DO NOT send a message to the GOP by staying home in November or by voting Democrat. More than that. The voters are roughly: 25% MAGA, 5% rest of GOP, 30% Dems, 40% Independents. MAGA's 25% attacks the rest of the GOP, so most wont vote, the Dems 30% HATE MAGA and will turn out to vote, the 40% Independents are tired the retardation, hate the war and are polling almost 2:1 for the Dems. The mid-terms will be a blood bath.
