@LWillson_82 @LochlinCross A lot of people in Sask share similar views as Ontario. I have three sons in their 20s and early 30s. You couldn't pay 2 of them to watch a CFL game. The other loves the CFL. The demographic for the CFL is dying off. Look at league attendance, even in Sask. Change is needed.
English

@LochlinCross I think the Sask and Winnipeg crowds don’t realize how the CFL is viewed in Ontario or the narrative about it.

My point is that the whole “Toronto needs marketing crowd” just lost their dream. The MLSE is taking their marketing arm and pairing it with a professional operation. This is going to be the beginning of the end of the CFL as we know it. There are more major announcements coming soon. In the next few years the CFL will be extremely different looking.
The numpties have no one to blame but themselves. They’ve lied about the product. They’ve pushed everyone out. They’ve bullied who even raises an eyebrow at any part of the league.
When I say professional operation above I mean the NFL. The CFL has so many silly flaws that are so easily fixable but haven’t been. The chats I’ve had with Duane Forde highlight a few; free agency, current version of the ratio, and the draft. Upcoming we talk about the 2 divisions and 9 team format. Coaches cap, time in facility etc. just silliness that could be easily corrected and add value to the product.
Take a look at the NFL. The tush push was almost banned this offseason. Kickoffs are now back (still not perfect). Yes they (NFL) get it wrong at times but they try and the adapt. CFL?!? We can’t even get an accurate website. I can’t get this confirmed but I’ve actually been told that the league is the guilty party in the Genius sports ineptitude because they won’t update the software on there end (unconfirmed). Everything is bottom tier with regard to the CFL off the field. And they get away with it because the numpties protect it at all costs. Even the narratives are utter fabrications. Here is my favorite;
“CFL offenses are more creative”disgustingly false. Hahah there isn’t a football person on planet earth who would watch film and say that is the case.
When the CFL looks nothing like it currently does. Don’t point the finger anywhere else but the numpties. They need to bear 100 percent responsibility. They ruined the CFL.
And for me as a youth who played in this country, family members who played OUA ball, and friends who’ve played in the CFL (and were subjected to BS facilities and trash medical care)…
I personally will never forgive them.

@LWillson_82 I am not sure of your point. People from the GTA have supported the Bills my whole life. Toronto does not have a facility that can host an NFL game. Toronto is a minor player in the CFL. Tell me how this changes anything. Move Argos to London.
English

@sskroughriders At what point do they move the game to tomorrow or Sunday?
English

@Steelers0867 We're sad to read about your experience Curt. That's certainly not the way we want you to feel after contacting us!
Is this only happening on the MLB network? -Philippe
English

@RogersHelps why is there audio but no picture on MLB Network? I tried contacting support to report this issue but ended up having one of the most frustrating experiences of my life.
English

@Rogers why is there audio but no picture on the MLB Network? I contacted support but they were less than helpful.

@bruce_arthur It is not a temper tantrum. It is a response bourne out of decades of our prosperity being trampled based on the whims of Eastern Canada, specifically Quebec. Ironically, Eastern Canada can not function without our dirty oil and resources. We have had enough.

I’m quitting watching football. There is no other way to teach @nflcommish a lesson. This is blatant cheating. #nflrigged

@CraigKoban @Bauerkillsall @ArrowFilmsVideo I'm pretty sure it is the same transfer as the Universal disc, just encoded with higher bit rates.
English

@Bauerkillsall @ArrowFilmsVideo I think so. Higher bit rates, for sure.

Finally getting around to checking out @ArrowFilmsVideo’s new INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS release.
Looks pretty good to me. 👍

Alberta is pleased to see that today President Donald Trump has decided to refrain from imposing tariffs on Canadian goods at this time as they study the issue further.
We appreciate the implied acknowledgement that this is a complex and delicate issue with serious implications for American and Canadian workers, businesses and consumers given the integration of our markets along with our critical energy and security partnership.
Avoiding tariffs will save hundreds of thousands of Canadian and American jobs across every sector. As an example, declining to impose U.S. tariffs on Canadian energy will preserve the viability of dozens of U.S. refineries and facilities that upgrade Alberta crude and the tens of thousands of Americans employed by them.
Despite the promising news today, the threat of U.S. tariffs is still very real. As a country, we need to immediately take the following steps to preserve and strengthen our economic and security partnership with the United States, and to avoid the future imposition of tariffs:
1. Focus on diplomacy and refrain from further talk of retaliatory measures including export tariffs or cutting off energy to the U.S.. Having spoken with the President, as well as dozens of Governors, Senators, members of Congress and allies of the incoming administration, I am convinced that the path to a positive resolution with our U.S. allies is strong and consistent diplomacy and working in good faith towards shared priorities. The worst possible response to today’s news would be the Federal Government or Premiers declaring “victory” or escalating tensions with unnecessary threats against the United States;
2. Negotiate ways to increase what Canadians and Americans buy from one another. As an example, the United States should look at purchasing more oil, timber and agricultural products from Canada, while Canada should look at purchasing more gas turbines, military equipment and the computer hardware needed to build our growing A.I. data centre sector. Finding ways to increase trade in both directions will be critical to achieving a win-win for both countries;
3. Double down on border security. Within the next month, all border provinces should either by themselves, or in partnership with the federal government, deploy the necessary resources to secure our shared border from illegal drugs and migration;
4. Announce a major acceleration of Canada’s 2% of GDP NATO target. This is clearly a shared priority that benefits both of our nations. There is no excuse for further delay;
5. Crack down on immigration streams and loopholes that are known to permit individuals hostile to Canada and the United States to enter our country, and restore immigration levels and rules to those under former Prime Minister Stephen Harper; and
6. Immediately repeal all federal anti-energy policies (production cap, CERs, C-69) and fast track northern gateway and energy east projects pre-approvals.
