@Buccigross He needs to stay healthy too. You’re right though that he needs a better winger to go with him and Fantilli. Jackets are one top line player away from being a wagon.

Looking back, Marchenko did take it to another level. But, I think he has one more level and if he ups those nouns below just a bit, he has another gear. One issue is finding him someone who plays and thinks at his level-he hasn't had that yet. CBJ needs to identify a one time in the weeds guy (like Geekie was) that Pasta unlocked. Also, Marchenko has to play and shoot more. 20 minutes a night and 500-600 shot attempts a season.

If Marchenko can get a little more nastiness/anger/dawg in his game, he can take it to the next level. I'm a big fan but he needs that to become a star. Turns 24 this summer and it's time to go. Pastrnak's always had that and that's why he developed into a star. Immense hunger.

Today I got kicked out of my friends company office.
He saw me using cursor and claude code in the corner to build an app. He asked me if i was an engineer.
I responded: “No im just building this thing so i do business faster”
His foudning software engineer chimed in “are you a professional engineer?”
Me: “No - i just talk to my computer and tell it what to do”
Founder: “Do you need a job? Looks like you’re using typescrip and we’re hiring engineers”
Me: “What’s typescript?”
Founder: “Get out of my office”
I am now looking for a new place to work but hey I’ve got a functioning app and he makes $2M/mo. so I’d say we’re both doing just fine.
