Novena to the Holy Spirit
Day 2…
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray:
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
PRAYER FOR THE SEVEN GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
O Lord Jesus Christ Who, before ascending into heaven did promise to send the Holy Ghost to finish Your work in the souls of Your Apostles and Disciples deign to grant the same Holy Spirit to me that He may perfect in my soul / the work of Your grace and Your love.
Grant me the Spirit of Wisdom that I may despise the perishable things of this world and aspire only after the things that are eternal.
The Spirit of Understanding to enlighten my mind with the light of Your divine
truth.
The Spirit on Counsel that I may ever choose the surest way of pleasing God and gaining heaven.
The Spirit of Fortitude, that I may bear my cross with You and that I may
overcome with courage all the obstacles that oppose my salvation.
The Spirit of Knowledge that I may know God, know myself and grow perfect in the science of the Saints.
The Spirit of Piety that I may find the service of God sweet and amiable.
The Spirit of Fear that I may be filled with a loving reverence towards God and may dread in any way to displease Him.
Mark me, dear Lord with the sign of Your true disciples and animate me in all
things with Your Spirit. Amen.

I hate it when someone dies of cancer, and we start giving medical advice. Stop being insensitive. There is no single CAUSE of Cancer; there are interactions of multiple factors. I've seen fitness junkies develop cancer at an early age, and those with the most unhealthy lifestyles live disease-free until old age. Even though we encourage a healthy lifestyle through health education, let's choose our moments so that our good intentions aren't misconstrued, please🙏

Prayer for Mercy:
Merciful Father, on this Mercy Tuesday, I cry out to You for mercy. Come to my rescue. Deliver me from battles that are greater than my strength, from burdens too heavy for me to carry, and from every trap set against my peace and progress.
Lord, defend me where I am weak and cannot defend myself. Let Your hand pull me out of every situation that seeks to keep me down.
Rescue my mind from fear, my heart from discouragement, and my life from every hidden danger.

Guys, always stand up to shake hands. If the other person is older than you, it shows respect. If they are younger than you, it shows humility. Either way, you win. People who sit to shake hands are bad-mannered.
When you shake hands, do not just offer a limp hand... even to an elder! Make sure that your handshake is firm. It shows confidence and fitness.
Then make sure that you look into the person’s eyes. It shows interest, attention and confidence. Don’t look away furtively like a liar and a thief!
Remember, as a man, there should be nothing limp or flaccid about you. You should always be polite and gracious, quietly confident (not arrogant, that is for inferior men) and erect. Always erect!
