While helping @VicGovDHHS with stage 4 lockdown at the nine Melbourne towers, a resident asked one of our officers for a favour.
It was to walk their dog given they couldn’t leave the building. Off we go...

@Woolworths what’s the point of having stickers and security guards if you keep letting people in and make them queue throughout the aisles. When people are queued from the counters to the back of the shop don’t you think it’s time to stop letting people I ?

Applying WIP limits at the feature or team level isn't saying NO, it's saying NOT YET. The most common outcome is reduced lead-time, another way of saying more in the same period - you are actually saying YES to more. Don't let people feel like WIP limits are loss; it's gain.

@DanPeroni It was all looking very +ve for a few days, but another dip. He has a lingering bacterial infection causing a v. bad cough, which has prevented getting him off the ventilator. He also has limited movement on one side of his body. He's getting a MRI and another blood culture test.

My fit, healthy 49 yo brother is now on a ventilator in intensive care because the oxygen wasn't working. All we can do is hope he fights and beats this. Please don't think this disease is only serious for elderly people. Keep you and your loved ones safe 🙏❤️.
