I've learnt the hard way that no matter how hard you try to make someone see and appreciate your feelings, if they don't want to,you just end up hurting yourself and you keep hoping that, they'd get to see, but it's like you don't exist in their world.

Mary, Woman of Easter Faith, you believed even when hope seemed lost. Pray for us, that our faith may be strengthened in the light of the Resurrection. When doubts arise and difficulties shake us, help us to trust that Christ is truly alive and present among us. May we live each day with the certainty that death has been conquered. Alleluia. 🙏🏽

Good Friday reminds us of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. May this day further deepen the values of harmony, compassion and forgiveness. May brotherhood and hope guide us all.

The first death I experienced in the hospital as a medical student broke me. Till date I still remember how the man knelt down, gave the wife a perk on the forehead and said "honey you tried and fought very hard" I took my bag and left the night call, registrar call and call I didn't pick up, the next day he saw me and asked why I left and I told him I couldn't face it. He looked at me and said, you are trained to have empathy over sympathy, assuming you are the only doctor, at that moment when you left who will take care of the next emergency that needs your expertise? So when healthcare workers move on quickly it doesn't mean they are not pained.

Amen. Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult cases, of things almost despaired of.

Pray for me, as I feel helpless and alone. 

Intercede with God for me that He bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly:

and that I may praise God with you and all the saints forever. I promise, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor granted me by God and to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.
