@amydiehl Not sure what this is called but once on the train into work a man draped his arm over the back of his seat and precariously close to my leg. Oh and he had the whole row to himself; this invasion of my space was incredibly unnecessary.

Seeking clarification/advice from those who have done this before:
Got my board certification (BCTXP) in spring of 2022. Received an email that says recert period begins 2023. Received another email saying I’m behind because I did not log CE for 2022.

@StephWitek You don’t need to log CE the first year you are certified. So I believe you would start in Spring 2023z

For those wondering, the denial was for isavuconazole due to failure to try and fail terbinafine…for pulmonary aspergillosis…

Best way to describe a recent PA denial: “You request almond milk for a recipe that calls for whole milk because you’re lactose intolerant. You are instead offered an egg, because one egg is far cheaper than a carton of almond milk, even though it doesn’t do the same thing.”

These aren’t primaries. PA is electing a brand new governor and senator as a result voters today.

@PharmD_Kev Thanks! I've been following a lot of the great tweets. I don't like letermovir for treatment... Too low of a barrier to resistance. Had two tx failures. However I do like it for proph in high risk pts intolerant to valcyte. Just did one today!
