As I count my blessings, I count my homeroom full of 26 and a switch class with 26 more. That's 52 blessings I got to care for, counsel, coach and teach this year. They've each helped me grow as an educator and human. It will never be quite the same again ❤️ @HumbleISD_CE

Today was the start of teacher appreciation week and I was so pleasantly surprised with a Teacher of the Month award from the Humble Area Retired Teachers Association (HARTA). My brilliant student and his mom nominated me! I definitely feel appreciated ☺️ @HumbleISD_CE

Thankful for our admin that made this happen for teachers! We had no idea and it's encouragement like this that keeps us going! Thank you admin and parents for refilling our cup so we can continue to fill our students with love daily! #WorldKindnessDay2024 @HumbleISD_CE

Probably my favorite thing about being a teacher: building relationships with your students so that they feel 100% comfortable being exactly who they were made to be! This young man brings so much laughter and joy to our classrooms, a natural comedian and a kind soul!

This week, we deepened our understanding of opinions and argumentative texts. When students are given the opportunity to share their opinions, they feel a sense of belonging and empowerment; making them more engaged and motivated, which can enhance their learning experience.

Studious 4th Graders working on #character analysis from the Caribbean Cinderella tale, #Cendrillon to answer questions about how characters change throughout a story 📚 Character analysis can help readers understand the underlying messages and themes of a story. @HumbleISD_CE

We had some incredible discussions and collaboration in 4th Grade today! We determined where different scenes from The Rough-Face Girl belonged on the Plot diagram. Productive struggle and healthy disagreements were had in order to deepen understanding of the text and structure
