2004 w/ 207K miles. Engine siezed, so got it for $600. FIL put a V10 Triton he had "laying around" with 60K in it, runs like new, should have another couple hundred to go... I put $3K into paint and some other fixes. $150K in new truck costs avoided. Staying rich is easier when you have skilled retired relatives and don't mind driving an old but classic rig.

I really dig this. I'd buy one if I didn't have to pay attention. I want to lay the seat back, nap, read a book, do some work, look at scenery, not stare at a road because the AI is watching my eyes.

So, if this China situation created the largest pullback we may see before 2025 comes to an end… Then the buying pressure tomorrow could be unprecedented. Like, it could be MASSIVE if the narrative becomes that *this* dip is the dip everyone has been waiting for with a path to move forward given Trump’s latests comments on China. - Trillions on the sidelines that has waited for a dip, if Trump is de-escalating, then that money may realize this is their dip and they might not easily get another deal like this if the Fed cuts another 2 times - 30% of fund managers are meeting their benchmarks, they may see this as their final chance to grab stocks down 5-10% from their highs - We all know retail bought the dip on Friday and listened to Trump in April when he said to buy…he didn’t explicitly say buy yet but his de-escalation could be perceived as a signal. Retail bought $100B+ in September, they may see tomorrow as a massive opportunity to pick up names that are sold off. Maybe this isn’t how it plays out and the market still factors too many risks and it isn’t seen as a major opportunity…but if it is… could be a big day in October history.

@StephaneRaynaud @alc2022 wrong as $VERI hasn’t fixed the balance sheet or debt issues as @RyanSteelberg had to keep getting extensions from the term debt lender and just did a massive round of dilution! No real solution and no big deals! Air Force deal is tiny at $5 million which is nothing!

I don’t think I can remember the last time I got in a @uber where the check engine light wasn’t lit :)

$UNH I put myself in a terrible position and I’m down 30% on my portfolio in 1 stock. I never lost so much money in my life and in such a short period of time. I admit - wrong expectations, bad sizing, bad positioning, stubborn and nonexistent risk management.

Find a cause you hate… then click on every ads you see about it. 1. It costs them money. 2. It’s one less person exposed to them :) and the more you click, the more you will see them!!! Exponential boycott that costs real money!!!! Go!
