What a week!!
After months, my Canadian work permit was approved! ..So now I am extremely excited to announce that in a month I will be joining @CoastDidier at @UQAR to work with coastal erosion in the Arctic!

I am super excited to announce that I will be taking up a permanent position in the School of Earth and Environment at @UCNZ early next year. Looking forward to this new chapter but very grateful to my awesome colleagues at Melbourne University for a great past few years.

Proud to have been awarded the @unimelb @scimelb School of Geography Earth & Atmospheric Sciences Dwight Prize from my honours year last year. Seems like a lifetime ago but have so many good memories from it!

From current analysis we know that the migration of the ebb tide eastward allowed sand to accumulate on the coast & saw a new ebb channel form

34 years of coastal change at the seaside town of Inverloch, Victoria - a region with an extremely dynamic coastline that has fluctuated up to 650 m since 1988.

I'm late to my own paper party!!
I took some well-needed time off-grid to reset and explore more of Aus before we settled back in the UK. Coming back and seeing this paper from my PhD online and ready for the world to see is incredible!

Hooray! The big paper from @ChloeLeach_13 PHD research has come out in GMD 👏👏 a 2D model of coastline evolution - allowing us to look at how sea level rise can change coastal erosion, beach and nearshore shape. Collaboration between @EEIatHull @BritGeoSurvey @EAGeomorphology
