I guess I have to be the bad guy (again). I like Gary Woodland & I’m happy for him. BUT it’s not like he had to beat the 2 best players on his tour to win this. He beat Sam Stevens, Johnny Keefer, Paul Waring & the less good Hojgaard twin.

For the 1 millionth time: my issues are (almost) never with the players & what they accomplish on the golf course. My problem has been the imbalanced media coverage, their double standards & pretending other accomplishments don’t matter. Nantz statement + Woodland coverage are the same issues manifesting themselves differently. I follow this stuff religiously. I will let you know if/when that changes & note/adjust accordingly. Until then, rage off of my pointing it out as much as you want - as long as you think about it. 🫡

Just an absolutely awful take. Winning on the PGA Tour is amazingly difficult. Discounting Gary’s win, after what he’s been through, bc it’s not a marquee event, is just asinine.

The fact that the PGAT still thinks Tiger will save them - when in fact the end of the Tiger era is a big reason why disruption and change was inevitable for pro golf - tells us that they have no solution to their issues, especially their next broadcast deal
