@PaulJohnDykes The point is...VAR can give penalty but only if a clear & obvious error. Otherwise you go with onfield call. The referee is at it. Not giving the penalty hoping it is not overturned. It's not missing the incident, it's deliberate to try to avoid giving it at all.
