Last night I walked into a quiet little village pub. Just low beams, old carpet and a bloke in the corner who’s probably been sat on the same stool since 1998. I ordered a pint, nine quid, got the missus a large wine. Fifteen quid for two drinks. I just stood there for a second like I’d accidentally ordered shares in the building. I remember being 20 and getting pints for £2.50. The economy is so cooked we’re paying luxury prices for nostalgia.

Both Iron Maiden & Judas Priest (in 2026) have only ONE original member in their bands. Why does nobody bust their balls about being a cover band or “demand” they retire? Yet Quiet Riot, Foreigner, etc are always targeted? I’m genuinely curious… And I’m in favor of all keeping their BRANDs alive.

Easter weekends get crazy out there. I’m glad to be moored in a lovely, quiet spot out of the way. A village is a short stroll. A storm is coming so I’ll be staying mostly cosy, reading and watching old films. I need to clean my windows too. Oh, and the obligatory glass of🍷🙏🥰

@Gypsypup13 Coffee as god intended. Bitter as hell and black as pitch. It's the only way. Although saying that I've only just started drinking it again after about 6 years. Moka pot on the hob every morning after I've walked the dogs. 3 espressos to start the day with a bang.
