@Georgia_Gould Hamas should surrender and return all the hostages. This should have been done a long time ago. In fact, the outrageous attack on Israel, the mass killing and taking of hostages by a terrorist organisation should never have occurred.

The situation in Gaza is intolerable with the UN and World Health Organisation setting out stark warnings of the threat of widespread starvation. I welcome the action announced today and the joint statement from the leaders of the UK, Canada and France opposing the expansion of Israel’s military operations. We need an immediate ceasefire, full aid access to end the humanitarian catastrophe, a return of the hostages, an end to illegal settlements, an end to Hamas’ control of Gaza and an international effort for peace and first and foremost protecting Palestinian and Israeli lives. As the foreign secretary said today ‘The UK, will not give up on a two-state solution: Israelis living within secure borders, recognised and at peace with their neighbours, free from the threat of terrorism; and Palestinians living in their own state, in dignity and security, free of occupation.’

@CamdenCouncil what's going on with the issue in New End NW3 1DJ. There was a leaking pipe under the road outside the Shul which caused power cut last week, @thameswater attend and dig up the road, expose the issue, leave it like that for days, and today the return 1/2

Very pleased to hear that 2 suspects have been arrested in connection to the anti-semitic daubings in Hampstead earlier this year. Further publication of images of the disgraceful messages is unwelcome.

Hampstead Town BID should pay back money taken from businesses and also give money to the smaller businesses and charities doing such amazing work.

Is it time for Hampstead BID to return money to Hampstead businesses?

Unfortunately Georgia, Camden Council officers didn't halt your non- essential works at Oriel Place NW3 when I asked them to.

Because of Covid 19 I asked for Camden Council's non essential work at Oriel Place in Hampstead to stop.  Camden officers safely working from home refused. Works continue here and elsewhere in the borough. Camden Council should be setting an example and shut non essential sites.

Last week I asked Camden's officer because of Covid 19 if there can be a council tax payment holiday.  Perhaps also postpone the planned increase. Camden’s officer said they will look at it.

@harrya18 Yes and shops, pubs,restaurants are closed. Help them by giving the money back to them.

@Ian_Coh I know who reported it to CST - I just didn't name him. It is about the facts and indeed about recognizing the communication and involvement of that CST volunteer, of CST, of the Camden synagogue group and the police and Camden Council.

@StephensLStark I don’t think it matters who reported it first, in fact it was my family that first reported it at 11:15 last night, the idea of community action is to share the Knowledge and let people know what is happening. There is no kudos of putting down any one that informs and cares

By the way and for the record, I alerted Conservative councillors including Cllr Cooper about the incidents - the message had come across from the Camden Synagogues group which I founded.

The facts: anti-semitic daubings reported to CST by CST volunteer & police.  Info circulated via Camden Synagogue Group which I chair.  I informed Camden Council - clean-up began within 90 mins. Let's credit the community & work of CST, police, Camden Council & synagogues

Isn't it time that planning officers write their reports from a neutral stance and let the planning committee decide!!!

Surprised at how calmly I kept saying, “No, you’re going to sit down and be quiet” when the guy kept shouting inches from my face that he’d fuck me up. And surprised that he eventually complied, to be honest...

Just stopped a guy yelling abuse at two women wearing hijabs on the tube at Camden Town. The guy squared up to me and started spitting in my face that he’d “fuck me up”. I eventually talked him into sitting down. It got a bit hairy, but glad I didn’t just sit in silence.
