@DavidHughesTwit Stephen Bissette is a great pal, and we had a blast during our DUNWICH chat, only interrupted when my wife forgot we were recording to announce the Queen of England had died (Not in the final edit!)

Not feeling Halloween this year, but I enjoyed the Arrow up-res of AIP’s The Dunwich Horror (1970), with its imaginative psychadelic interpretation of Lovecraftian horrors. Includes a two-hour (!) Zoom chat between fans @StephenLawsSL + Stephen R. Bissette. Ia! Ia! Yog-Sothoth!

@Baddiel I despise Trump. But I see undiagnosed and unrecognised autism in his son, and sadness. We should leave him out of the debate.

@gjkendall @TomJamesRowley @Valancourt_B Hope you enjoy it. Bear in mind that it was written at a time when trains had corridors etc. It was on Steven Spielberg’s desk for consideration once upon a time.

Stephen Laws is an author recommended to me many times. I'm delighted to finally add 'Ghost Train' to the TBR Pile of Doom. This sounds right up my alley. Hopefully, it'll hit the spot, as his bibliography looks to be packed with books that I think I'll enjoy.

Issue 244 of THE DARK SIDE magazine is now available, featuring my feature/interview with late pal, stuntman Eddie Powell, who doubled for Christopher Lee, and others. Lots of inside stories of his time at Hammer etc, and 10 beautifully produced pages.

During the summer, I try to take some time to unwind. However, as an author, I am always on the lookout for new inspiration no matter where I am. Is there a particular location that inspires you?🏔️🌆

@brooligan Last time I knocked you unconscious, the first thing you did when you ‘came round’ was to shake your head vigorously. Guaranteed to sort out a possible concussion.

So, how come convicted criminal and disgraced Jeffrey Archer joins Ann Widdecombe on the Jeremy Vine morning show and is now treated with respect for his views, most often with smiling repartee and indulgence. Any chance you’ll brace him for anything, Jeremy? All pals now, eh?

@StephenKing I love the scene where Cagney, eating a sandwich, hears a muffled voice from the back of their getaway car saying ‘I can’t breathe!’ - and he remembers the guy they stuffed in the boot. He casually fires several shots into the boot and asks: ‘That better?’

Diamond info#10… if it interests anyone here, I’m finally getting my act together, scouring the paper trail, memories, and disc after disc as I piece together a book about our father’s extraordinary stunt career!

I look forward to the day when someone can mention crying over a movie and not get mocked for it. I'm telling you, I cry over so many films. I cry because they're touching or sweet or sad...I even cry sometimes because something is so dang good. And I'm completely good with that.
