The shovels are in the ground at the home of #LUFC, as the first signs of the transformation of Elland Road are appearing. The initial construction stage of the project will expand the John Charles West Stand from the existing capacity of 8,000 to 17,552. The new West Stand will be around a third larger than the East Stand. It is hoped work on the West Stand will be completed by the end of 2028, raising the total capacity of Elland Road to around 47,000. The Don Revie North Stand will be the next stand to be redeveloped, with work hoping to begin (shortly after the completion of the West Stand redevelopment) at the start of 2029, and to be completed before the end of 2030. The North Stand's current capacity of 10,414 will be expanded to 15,300. By 2030, if all goes to plan, Elland Road should have a capacity of 53,000 which would make it the 7th largest football ground in England. 📸CP Overview

The @YorkshireCCC ninth wicket partnership seals victory against @DerbyshireCCC Andrew Tye and Hassan Ali added 56 breaking the record for the T20 ninth wicket partnership against Derbyshire of 31 previously held by Davies and Parry for Lancashire at Derby in 2015. We've got a great fan base who live away from Blackburn. Flexible tickets would be superb & I wish we would consider this. Views on team aside, a ST is a big decision with all-in cost on matchday. £75 for me & two boys as walk-on in BBE for Burnley game (assuming it's A+)
