Two constituencies can't be read on the @IEBCKenya portal + I cannot find them reported in the media from the "verified" results. Does anyone have the final presidential figures for: 1. Kilifi North 2. Tigania East Thanks! #kenyaelections2022 #KenyaDecides2022

I’ve decided to run for City Council in Ward 3 because I believe in #yyc's potential, our people and our future. I will champion the needs of North Central residents and ensure that Ward 3 is heard in City Hall. Learn more: jasmine4ward3.ca #yyccc #yycward3

@siasaplace @BinaMaseno @melvinethogo I have not heard any special plan. Counselling services, Financial support and Coursework flexibility are critical for these young girls. Women parliamentarians & their male counterparts should be fighting for such provisions. #SiasaWednesday

@siasaplace @BinaMaseno @melvinethogo Kenya is not ready for safe school reopening. There’s a lot of discipline and investment required to guarantee safety of both teachers and students. Social distancing, Access to clean water, Diet that boosts immunity are hard to come by in most schools. #SiasaWednesday

@siasaplace @BinaMaseno Well, higher education reforms are a continuous process. Courses have to respond to emerging global needs, national priorities. They can defund all they want as long as the they guarantee proper use of the acquired skills and knowledge & applicability in the global market.

There's a proposal by the government to stop funding courses that are not crucial to national development; economic, social, political, and the big four agenda. What are your thoughts on this? #SiasaWednesday @BinaMaseno @StephenMachua

@siasaplace Option 2, which I saw at my former university @OfficialUoM , is to have a “Laptop Borrowing System” in the school libraries. The university will own these laptops and ensure they’re only used within the libraries. #SiasaWednesday

Students are going back to school and one of the requirements, especially at the tertiary level, is to have a laptop. How can the government ease the parents' burden in this? @StephenMachua #SiasaWednesday

@siasaplace The burden has to be shared by both the public and private sectors. For instance, @HELBpage can partner with local banks & saccos to advance a special loan to students for purchase of laptops. The prices can be subsidized through a government fund. #SiasaWednesday @nadia_abdalla_
