Last night Goma, the largest city in eastern DRC fell to M23 without much of a fight. President Tshisekedi refused to talk to M23, then breached his peace agreement with them, then breached his agreement with the EAC. Result? Since he chased the EAC force from DRC, he has lost territory four times the size of Uganda. The South African army be has hoped to rescue him just surrendered without a fight to M23. The entire SADC force did nothing. His own army doesn’t fight. The UN force, MONUSCO, ran into Rwanda. It seems there is nothing that can stop M23 if they chose to march onto Kinshasa. His western allies, who were encouraging him on his stupid belligerence talk loud and do nothing. With Trump in the White House and opposed to America’s role as policeman of the world, it seems the fat man of Kinshasa is now on his own. Who will save him from himself?

Due to high price fluctuations of milk, managing finances is one of the foremost challenges in the dairy value chain. Therefore, women-led enterprises in Mbarara, Bushenyi & Isingiro under the @WEADS_project, received a Financial Literacy training with extra enthusiasm.. 1/3

Is bad politics necessariry pro-poor OR is poverty pro-bad governace? Obi observes: “when politics pays better than entrepreneurship, politicians manufacture poverty!”

@katompanga30 @DaudiKabanda But honestly do you have to justify his show of ignorance and utter lack of an appreciation for Uganda’s past history? There is a reason why we have laws. They should be implemented as is!

Mr. Kabanda, for someone in your position, it’d be helpful if you concentrated on giving positive energy. Majority of your tweets are defensive, threatening/intimidating, some unnecessary. You seem perpetually angry, at war and vindictive! ‘Nice to be important, more important to be nice’ is what a mother said to her politician son! 😉

How come when a serving UPDF officer supports the opposition, its not illegal & breaking the law? Why do they apply the law for convinience? when the judiciary makes a ruling in their favour then it becomes indepedent, but when its not in their favour then its biased.

@nickopiyo African culture is existent and is defined by its heterogeneity, on account of distinct differences due to origins and social evolution. Any race with people of multiple origins has variations in culture with generic similarities.

Can we, in all honesty, claim that there’s such a thing as an African culture in such a vast, diverse, & multi-lingual continent? Or is the claim of ‘an African culture’ an empty political & religious rhetoric? If there’s one thing that we can call African culture, what’s it?
