It is not the one that raises his voice that wins an argument, rather the one who raises his/her reasoning wins it. In essence, raise your words not your voice because it's rain that grows flowers not thunder.

There is No Reason to Detain Nnamdi Kanu. He Did Nothing Wrong — Peter Obi Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has reiterated his opposition to the continued detention of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, insisting that no one should be arrested simply for expressing their views. Speaking in Washington, Obi said he sees no justification for Kanu’s detention and urged authorities to embrace dialogue rather than repression when dealing with agitators. “I have said this repeatedly, there is no reason for detaining Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. You cannot arrest somebody just because the person is speaking on radio,” Obi stated. Drawing from his own experience in politics, the former Anambra State governor argued that criticism and name-calling are not criminal offences. “I am a politician, people have been calling me names, it’s not an offence,” he said. Obi extended his position to all separatist and political agitators across the country, saying engagement remains the most effective way to address grievances and preserve national unity. “Even all agitators; if I was in government today, I will discuss with them and engage with them, I will consult them. Because I believe if they have a reason for whatever they want to do, it’s only by engaging them we will learn and see how we can resolve this,” he added. The former presidential candidate, however, acknowledged that he currently holds no government office and therefore lacks the authority to act on such proposals. “But I am not in position to do anything today,” Obi said.

“Heavenly Father, Today we come before You with hearts that are tired, wounded, and in need of Your healing touch. You are the #God who restores, comforts, and makes all things new. We ask You to pour out Your peace upon every person who is struggling physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. Touch every sick body with Your healing power and bring strength where there is weakness, calm where there is anxiety, and hope where there is fear. Lord, heal the pain that cannot be seen by others—the silent tears, the hidden stress, the sleepless nights, and the heavy burdens carried in secret. Remind us that we are never alone because Your presence goes before us and stays beside us in every battle. Give wisdom to doctors, comfort to families, and courage to those waiting for breakthrough and recovery. Father, replace sadness with joy, #fear with #faith, and confusion with peace. Help us trust Your timing even when healing feels delayed. Strengthen our hearts so we do not lose hope during difficult moments. Let Your love shine into every dark place and renew our minds with confidence and peace. We declare that Your #grace is greater than every sickness, every struggle, and every storm we face. Thank You for being our refuge, protector, and healer. We place every worry into Your hands and trust You completely. In #Jesus’ name, Amen.” 🙏

Peter Obi@PeterObi·
Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I Can Never Cry Because of a Woman — Peller Reacts to Roby Ekpo’s Emotional Podcast Break down Content creator Peller has stirred reactions online after responding to the emotional moment involving veteran media personality Roby Ekpo, who recently broke down during a podcast while discussing the end of his 11-year marriage. In a livestream reacting to the viral clip, Peller expressed shock at Ekpo’s display of emotion, insisting he could never find himself in a similar situation again. He used the moment to reflect on his own past relationship experiences and how they’ve shaped his outlook. He said: “Guys, see this man, this man is crying! In this 2026 because of a woman guys. Me, God forbid I cry of such again. If I share my experiences in relationships with him he’ll cry for me, no jokes. This man is crying ooo, he’s seriously pained. Guys, I can’t cry for love again. I can’t cry because of any woman again in this 2026, I have better things to do with my life.”

A man went viral and every married guy on this app needs to sit down. He married her 5 months after meeting her. She was already a divorcee. He didn’t ask why the first marriage ended. That was sign #1. He sent her abroad to school. Funded everything on a Lagos salary. She stayed 6 years. Didn’t visit once. Sign #2. He kept sending flowers through friends. Kept calling. 5, 6 missed calls a day. She wouldn’t pick up. Sign #3. She got a “flatmate” abroad. A man. He swallowed it. Sign #4. Last year he sent her ticket money to come home. Rented 2 cars. Brought friends to film the reunion. She wouldn’t hug him at the airport. She wouldn’t let him touch her at home. He slept on his own couch for 2 nights. Then he found the picture, her on another man’s lap in a restaurant. And learned the flatmate had been sleeping with her the whole time. He only bought his first car AFTER he stopped sending her money. Guys, love is not enough. Discernment is the rent love pays to stay alive. What sign would you have caught first?

Dear Simi; First of all, I desperately want to say e no go better for you, but let's be honest, has it really been good for you? The only thing you have dropped that has been close to a hit, since your entire life as an artist, was Duduke. Asides from that, all your projects have been failures. But, that's by the way. When I saw those horrible tweets about your preference for little boys and how the boy children in your mother's daycare were munching on your avunna, I genuinely thought it was some mischievous twitter banger boy who was behind it, hoping to get at you over your recent stance on grape. Only for me to wake up this morning and see that you acknowledged you wrote them 12 years ago. Not only did you acknowledge it, you defended your actions, saying they were not from perversion. For those of you who are not aware of the gist, these are some of the tweets that Simi tweeted 12 years ago when she was 24: "I wish my husband was 4 years old. My type." "David has a crush on me. He kips comn close; actin lik he wana lock lips n den he puts his head on my lap. Shd I giv him a chance? P.S: Hes 4" "Why this 4yr old boy tryna put hand inside ma sheet??? Ogbeni wash it oh!" Imagine if Davido was the one whose tweets resurfaced like this? The backlash? The cancel culture? You noticed how these tweets were directed at little boys in her care? Now, this same Simi came out a few days ago to beckon men to stop graping women. You remember when Ezra was fingered in his animalistic and pedo tweets? What did he do? He deactivated his Twitter account. What did Simi do? She's defending those tweets, saying she meant it from a place of love. A boy putting his head inside your obough was from a place of Love?😭😭 And that sums the difference between a man and a woman. Men take responsibility for their actions. Women will defend their actions. I would have said Nigerians should cancel Simi, but can you cancel what didn't have a beginning in the first place? God already knew Simi would end up like this, that's why he punished her for 600 years in advance. Moral Lesson: No be me talk am ooh 😂

A young man that calls himself Foundational Nupe Lawyer has the effrontery to say that I am behaving like a “a baby whose mother is lost”. WOW! You actually said “whose mother is lost”? Let it be on record that I’ll never forgive you for making that statement, both in life and in death. You’ve crossed a red line. Can you imagine a lawyer saying that the discontinuance of an action when issues have been joined amounts to a dismissal? This is the nonsense that a supposed first class graduate of law wrote boldly and publicly. By the way, as at the time the case was discontinued, pleadings had not closed, and the court in granting the application to withdraw did not dismiss the action. Your lies about me being the one who has been targeting you all along is ridiculous. The facts are there. You claimed that I am upset with you due to the fact that you started challenging me on issues of law. What a silly insult. As who exactly? What’s my business with you? Where is that coming from? Lawyers have been disagreeing with some of my legal opinions long before anyone knew you on this platform. You can parrot whatever nonsense suits your base, but be rest assured of the fact that by uttering the statement “whose mother is lost”, you’ve crossed an unforgivable boundary.

Simi is a living proof that the only reason women who are introvert and hardly ever engage on online drama are perceived to be smart or good women is because they haven't spoken yet. Give women just enough time to air their opinion on gender matters and you'll realize how dumb even the ones you once perceived to be intelligent are. The only reason you won't notice these women stupidity on a normal day is because they're introvert by nature. But as soon as they speak, your asshole begins to get jealous of the shit coming out from their mouth. This is just to tell men, the easiest way to keep your woman's dumbness in check is by stopping her from talking in public spaces so people will continue to make the assumption that she's smart. Now, it's easier to understand why the talibans stopped women from speaking in public or dropping their opinions on public spaces. It was to protect woman against themselves. Simi just proved that no matter how educated, rich, famous, or influential a woman might be, she's just as dumb and stupid as an average woman. Irrespective of their degrees, wealth, achievements, and educational background, what differentiate them from an average 21 years old broke girl is one is a rich and OLDER FOOL while the other is a broke ass and a YOUNGER FOOL. At the end of the day, as a woman, one thing you should learn from this Simi saga is that you're more likely to be perceived as smart if only you just STFU. So as a woman, always STFU 🤫

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨 Ogun State Police have arrested TikTok user Mirabel following investigations that found her viral rape allegations to be false. Mirabel had claimed she was raped and cut with a blade by an unknown man. However, police investigations uncovered multiple inconsistencies in her story. According to her neighbors, there were no signs of a break-in, or screams for help. Phone records and text messages also did not support her version of events. Police further stated that Mirabel gave conflicting statements and refused to undergo full medical and forensic examinations, despite these being offered by authorities and NGOs. She was detained for providing false information, wasting police resources, and attempting to pervert the course of justice. Her TikTok account has since been set to private, several videos have been deleted, and some donors are reportedly demanding refunds. Investigations are ongoing. Authorities emphasized that false allegations undermine real survivors and will be treated seriously. Say No to false rape !
