The US has 989 billionaires with a net worth of at least 5.7 trillion dollars hording our resources. If we distributed that $$$ equitably, regular Americans could leave their jobs and explore lives of creativity and self-growth, with food, clothing, and shelter provided for free.

@MarioNawfal Thanks for being honest about your bias; it was subtly obvious until now; comparing the Islamic Regime in Iran to any country in the west is ludicrous

Israel has nukes, but doesn't need to admit it as they're America's ally Meanwhile Iran just got bombed to oblivion because of their "nuclear program"

This is my best crack at it. There's only so much lipstick you can put on. 1. Duran 2. Anthony 3. Contreras 4. Abreu 5. Story 6. Mayer 7. Narvaez 8. Durbin 9. Rafaela

This lineup just doesn't work. Their best two hitters are Anthony and Abreu, and there are 3 hitters in between them to kill rallies. Duran isn't an RBI guy, and he's batting third. Durbin is 0-for-2026 and is protecting Abreu. I'm down on the job Cora is doing right now.

A NYC school teacher has a GREAT idea for billionaires leaving New York. 🤣🙄 He suggests that if the billion dollar companies leave then the regular folks should just take over their businesses. Journalist: “What do you say to the folks who say, if you tax millionaires, they're going to leave the city and the top 1% pays 40% of the taxes in the city. What happens if they leave? What's your response?” NYC Teacher: “We should take their business and we run it for the city ourselves.” 🤡 Journalist: “They take their business to Florida, you feel like you can keep it here?” NYC Teacher: “They can't leave the building. They can't just bring their whole entire workforce to Florida. Right? They can't bring all of the resources that they have to build the business here to Florida. Thats where you would say we're building a real movement, right?” “To stop that, we’d make it illegal for them to actually leave. We would find them to hell if they're gonna try to abandon their property here. Because clearly people do need to work, right? People do need to make a living.” Are they really all this stupid?? Republicans can mock the No Kings protests all the want, but the reality is it just grew from 6 million to 8 million people in a few months. 3,300 rallies in all 50 states, many in suburbs and small towns. Meanwhile, Republicans in Congress see the writing on the wall. A record 36 are retiring early. Donald Trump is sitting around 40% approval at best, closer to the low 30s by some measures. When a president is under 50%, their party historically loses an average of 34 seats in Congress. Democrats only need a handful of seats. The energy is real and it is growing.

@HannahDCox The problem with X is people like to speculate on something they know absolutely nothing about. The defense dept has been looking at this scenario since 1979. I trust they know what they’re doing; we’ll see if it works youtu.be/INklOe_lF54?si…

A friend asked me if I thought Kamala Harris would have been better able to withstand Bibi or if she also would have invaded Iran. I don’t know. But what I do know is if she had decided to invade Iran she would have at least had the semblance of a plan to win.

@sharma_views If Trump is lying, that’s brilliant! Let the regime be completely paranoid about who is selling them out to the cursed west :) Honestly, I hope he is

🚨 TOM: Trump says the US is negotiating with Iran. Iran denies it. There’s global uncertainty… who to believe? PROF. JOHN: You misspoke. There’s no global uncertainty, there’s global certainty Trump is lying. STEPHEN: No mediator confirmed talks. TRUMP CAUGHT LYING AGAIN 💥

Nobody in the Trump administration planned for Iran to shut the Strait of Hormuz. Nobody planned for sustained missile strikes on American bases across the Gulf. Nobody planned for an energy crisis. Nobody planned for Europe to look at Washington, shrug, and walk the other way. Nobody, it turns out, planned for very much at all. Read the accounts of how this war was decided and you are left with one deeply uncomfortable realisation: the people who launched it appear to have been genuinely surprised by almost everything that followed. The Iranians shot back. The allies didn’t show up. The oil price went vertical. All of it, apparently, news to them. Which leaves two questions so obvious they’re almost embarrassing to ask. What exactly did they think was going to happen? And did anyone, in any room, at any point, think further ahead than the applause? Gandalv / @Microinteracti1

@mamboitaliano__ The problem is this: anybody & everybody can post comments anonymously, which means they can say things that they would never say face-to-face with that person. One minor change on X, requiring people to ID themselves with each post would change social media forever

80 years after Gilda (1946) we’re still in awe of the atomic Rita Hayworth ✨ Our era instead will be remembered as the age of celebrities who look like wet sparrows fallen out of the nest (Margot Robbie, Demi Moore, Anya Taylor-Joy)
