Boxing family please share this 🙏 I’m looking to join together with a boxing gym in the London/Essex area for some exciting new content on my TikTok channel. With over 300k followers it’s a good opportunity for exposure and possible sponsorships etc. If you are interested or know someone that might be, DM me to discuss further. I look forward to hearing from you. #boxing

@JamieMccon76416 Most definitely but imagine it’s tough to turn down the opportunity as who knows it may not come around again.

@SteveBoxman Wardley can offer so much more with a rebuild and a rematch later down the line in an immediate rematch he has a punchers chance

@DrGhostDogg108 I can’t knock a man for believing in himself and it will certainly be a big pay day too as it’s bound to be a stadium fight now.

@SteveBoxman It’s his right to rematch. But even in the first 6-8 rounds of their contest, thought Wardley had the big moments but Dubois still had the fight. Those last few rounds were tough to watch.

@suepesas I mean I’m sure he will be confident in himself having dropped Dubois twice but there’s certainly a lot to change if he’s to win it any other way than a KO in the early rounds.

@SteveBoxman Not an exact comparison to be sure... But he went hell for leather with Clarke 1st time. Learned from that and crunched him in the immediate rematch. Notwithstanding Dubois fight being allowed to go too long, if he can apply similar improvement relatively, Fabio has form.

@SteveBoxman Probably mate. Even so, he's done very well for himself, especially considering his background.

@SteveBoxman Itauma fight is unlikely to happen any time soon, but we'd all like to see it eventually. I'd like to see Dubois fight Kabayel, Fury, Zhang. Even maybe Sanchez and Okolie! At the age of 28, Dubois already has an impressive resume though! Boy's done good🥊

@Nemoticon Yeah he proved a lot wrong to come through those early rounds and win how he did so fair play. It will be back to the drawing board for Wardley I guess and there’s a lot of fights for him. Who do you wanna see Dubois fight? The Itauma fight won’t be happening just yet.

@SteveBoxman I do hope so. I really do think Wardley and his team can look back on that performance and learn from it. I like Wardley, more so than Dubois. But credit where due, Dubois proved me wrong and performed incredibly well that night.

@Nemoticon I hear it and he will be thinking the same in hindsight but in the heat of the moment things can go out the window quickly. However we play it experience does play a big part in that and that’s not something he has a lot of particularly at that level, Dubois does and it showed.

@SteveBoxman Yeah, I get that. But 3-5 rounds later... you can't still be thinking the same! If Dubois was still punching back 1 round later (after 2nd knock down), I'd have gone back to my jab and showing a little more head movement. And this is basic stuff too!

@Taz1342241Taz Oh for sure it’s going to be tough as fights like that will take a hell of a lot from a fighter.

@SteveBoxman Unfortunately, I don't think Wardley will have the same toughness from hereon in.

@Nemoticon You’d have to think putting him down so early played its part in that too. He likely thought he had that fight won particularly when he put him down the second time.

@SteveBoxman White collar or not, he's a Pro-Boxer with 20 fights under his belt... he's not stupid. Surely he could have and should have trained to have an actual game plan and a little more punch variety than one basic, wild combo. Even if he still lost, I expected more.

@Nemoticon Of course not but if we are being real, there wasn’t many tipping Wardley to reach this level from white collar boxing was there?

@SteveBoxman But toughness alone isn't enough, is it? Wardley had NO game plan and threw the same 1-2 haymaker for 11 rounds. All this showed me was that there are levels in the top 5 and that Wardley was lucky to get his hands on a strap at all! I honestly wasn't impressed.

@SteveBoxman Usyk vs. Fury 1. Fury was saved by a standing count. Left absolutely no doubt who was the number 1 heavyweight in the world. I was shocked at how comfortable Usyk was in that fight.
