@JohnCleese If the population of men and women are generally equal in numbers, how will each Muslim man wind up with 72 women virgins? 🤔

@JedediahBila Exactly. There is also that, when I was marriageable age, women like her didn't want to have anything to do with me, they only wanted Chads. Now they have kids from those Chads and the Chads don't want them anymore. So now they want me to support them and their kids. NO.

@RichardAMilton @michaelshermer I see no contradiction. $1 trillion can exist in a simulation, and Mars can exist in a simulation, and humanity can exist in a simulation. So there are no contradictions there.

@michaelshermer There is ZERO evidence we're in a simulation. 100% speculative. Musk said we're almost certainly living in a simulation, yet he wanted a $1 Trillion pay package and that we need to colonize Mars to make humanity a multiplanetary species. He's completely contracting himself.

@TheLaurenChen An overweight woman I knew claimed that she couldn't lose weight no matter how much she dieted. She said she drank only one glass of milk at each meal. I ate lunch with her one day and saw her milk glass. It was a tumbler that held a full quart. 😉

At one point in college, I had an obese roommate. After a few weeks, she complained about how lucky I was to be thin, since I ate more than her. The thing is, however, that I absolutely did not eat more than her, in terms of calories or just amount of food. She put ranch on everything. 600 calorie drinks. Endless snacking. Maybe my plate was more full than hers at dinner, but it was obvious tp everyone but her that she was consuming more throughout the day. I'm sorry, but after multiple instances of this happening with other overweight people, I just don't trust when someone heavy insists they're in caloric deficit. Maybe some people lose weight faster than others. For sure. But it's simple science that if calories out exceed calories in, you WILL lose weight.

@anymanfitness I ate 1200 for 44 days straight. Measured and weighed everything. I gained weight. I wish was I kidding.

@mysteriouskat I suspect that it's because there are always a lot of people who want to rule. Practically everyone wants to be the king, few people want to be serfs. 😉

It's interesting that most Arab countries are ruled by some form of dictatorship. I wonder why that's so inherent to the culture...is it because religion plays such a fundamental role & without the division between "church and state", you'll always land in a dictatorship?

@ThomasSowell That's why spell check was invented. If we didn't use tools, we would not be able to do very much. Imagine if someone thought that they had to use their bare hands to drive nails into wood. Thankfully someone invented the hammer. 😉

@Tomangewill1 Engineers would have to determine how small 3D printing can go and how large MBE can go to see at what scale they cross over.

@SteveCLitch MBE is still really precise but limited to very small scale structures, so scaling up is a challenge. 3D printing could offer more flexibility for larger structures, while MBE continues to excel for things like ICs.

@Tomangewill1 I read about the technology for MBE many years ago and it seemed not quite up to the task for large scale structures. Perhaps 3D printing would be better for that. But MBE seems to be used even now for very small structures like ICs.

@SoledadFrancis The left likes to claim that the reason the poor don't read is because they are deprived of books. But when I tell them that the public library is full of books to read for free, they complain that it's too far for them to travel to. The reality is they just don't like to read.

Children don't read because their parents don't read. We'll soon be led by an entire generation that has never cracked open a book. Not a single book in the home. This frightens me more than the idea of nuclear threat or a foreign power attacking us. We're imploding from within.

@PhilMitchell83 Feminists: 'Men just want to keep women barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen.' 'Men just want to use women as brood sows to have their babies.' 'The Handmaid's Tale is an accurate description of society today.' Also feminists: 'Men are to blame for female childlessness.' 🙄

‘Finally, men are getting the blame for female ‘unplanned’ childlessness’ The report says nothing about “immature” men but does say 54% of women find motherhood unappealing The press ignore the latter & focus on the latter. More gleeful misandry?

@SoCalValleyGal @elonmusk I'm sure that's quite true. That would be only natural. Some people are born more attractive than others so naturally they have much less difficulty in social situations.

@SoCalValleyGal @elonmusk I'm sure it seems that way from the outside. Perhaps if you could experience being them you might find that they had more challenges to their efforts than you knew about. Some sports players make the game look easy, but that doesn't mean that opposing players didn't try. 😉

@SteveCLitch @elonmusk Well some people in life are pretty much just like that, they pick up the ball and carry it into the goal and it works out for them, other people keep trying and trying and never make it.
