Marco Sturm crabbing about penalty non-calls on bumps on Swayman is rich. Doing his team a solid. I get it. Frankly, both teams have a lot to complain about in that game. Poor stuff going both ways all night. #Sabres#NHLBruins
The @BuffaloSabres became the first team in NHL postseason history to win in regulation time after trailing by two or more goals to zero with eight minutes or fewer remaining in regulation.
You all have to stop listening to betting sites and ticketing sites for game times. They don’t know. Their software often requires any game time to be published. Only the league issues game times. I don’t care what FanDuel or StubHub or anyone else says. They don’t know.
@Ade780 I think this season is a wash. I feel the Sabres will sign him to a two year contract. If they can lock him to a 4 year at a low number, I could see that too. We know Tage likes him & Doan would not be happy to lose his roommate. I’m guessing a two year prove your value contract
There are MANY positives to talk about regarding the Sabres division winning season… but let’s talk about a negative side; Michael Kesselring. I am not trying to shit on Kesselring, I’m sure he and the team know these things. Two assists in 33 games with Buffalo, has struggled
The first person to bang the drum at a Sabres playoff game needs to have a few specific qualities.
It needs to be someone who:
a) Will get a huge reaction
b) Hasn’t been seen in awhile
c) Represents the drought as a whole
In my opinion, that person is Jeff Skinner.
@BillsGal419 Man, Benson is the next Marchand. I hate Marchand, but he gets under the skin of those he plays against. Once Benson starts scoring, he will be a force to be reckoned on an even higher scale! Love that kid!!
My column for @TBNSports on a Buffalo legend: Rick Jeanneret was more than worthy as our voice for all time.
Some stories from life on the road with RJ and advice to the #Sabres: Give the man a statue. buffalonews.com/sports/columns…
Lindy: "Their desperation level was just higher than ours. It's as simple as that. ... We weren't good enough to win the game. ... The game was sitting there and they took it over." #Sabres#Sens
Josh Dunne is in Sam Carrick's place on the Sabres' fourth line at morning skate. Otherwise, it appears the lineup will be the same as the one Buffalo had the other night against the Islanders.
