Question would be whether or not he would be willing to fit into our wage structure (whatever that is). Keeping him would be a strong statement for next season

Problem in any weight class is once you've beaten the top 3 or 4, anyone else who makes the top 3 or 4 are almost considered cannon fodder. Do agree though - not his prime year. Inoue between 2018 and 2023 was one of the most dominant forces I've seen in real time. Blasting out world level guys in a couple of rounds and barely losing rounds at all (with the exception of Donaire 1 obviously). He's still obviously elite of the elite. But definitely not at the peak of his powers now. That being said he still beats a lot of guys at 126 and beats one of the champions at 130. Utterly ridiculous career.

Where do I start, firstly I want to to thank my team cause they put a lot of work into this camp, I want to thank everyone who came up to watch me in Manchester I know how much it costs for hotels ticket etc and I really appreciate it and I want to thank my wife Lydia and my daughter for always being there for me when I’m grumpy through camp ❤️ I can’t believe the decision when against me last night pretty much everyone at ringside and online said I won the fight and won it quite convincingly and I should have that title over my shoulder today and changed my family’s life 😔💔
