Stop using $100 to save 14¢ and turn on the lights and AC. Nuclear, not wind. Immigration: based on unemployment rates. You can’t take our spot. Trade: if you’re not buying about what you’re selling to us, then you’re either exploiting your people or ours. No expensing of foreign workers or contractors against taxable income. Legal: rape factory prison system isn’t helping. Let private companies bid for upscale rehabilitation programs and facilities. You get a shot at your own room, a real job, and some basic luxuries. Or you get oatmeal, bars and curfew. You get sentenced to prison? You don’t get out until you’re not a threat. Regardless of the charges. Disbar half the lawyers. Healthcare: high deductible with FSA’s that you can carry over. You have a medical account, you have to pay for it from that. Market forces will work. Let’s sell social security too. Guaranteed benefits in your name. Indigent and disabled are insured by former FICA taxes. Like Medicare- you can have basic benefits, or you can have your benefits managed by approved programs. I think it’s a reasonable start on some problems.
