@COsports55 @TermineRadio It’s been over 4 years now of him being the clear best player. They’ve tried. There’s just nothing he or the NBA can do to for him to appeal to kids or the casual NBA fan. Move on and find a way to market around him.

@SteveLN6 @TermineRadio Yeah the NBA should defenitley not market their best player of the generation. Even if he is in marketable the league hasn’t even tried to. The marketing arm of the NBA has to figure out a way to market the best player

@ArmandDoma I love Pete and if we lived in a vacuum, he’d absolutely be one of my top choices. But I don’t know how you see the results of this election and say America is ready to be more progressive.

I think Joe Biden generally did more good than bad in his first 3 years, but his legacy is going to be marked in shame. What he’s done over the past year will have catastrophic effects beyond even our lifetimes.

@kenklippenstein None of this is helpful, and frankly you can’t make mistakes like because of in-fighting. There’s no game planning for a second try, we have to live with their ineptitude.

Wow — Nancy Pelosi puts Biden on blast, telling NYT: "Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race." "The anticipation was that, if the president were to step aside, that there would be an open primary."

People only discovering after the election that Gavin Newsom was the perfect central casting foil to Trump is mind boggling. Ask anyone in California and they have known this for YEARS.

@GonzGovConsult @BrentColman No, Kamala ran on a platform of joy and hope with laughter and smiles. That was her campaign, and it has nothing to do with her gender. I don’t think Newsom would run on joy and hope. There would be a seriousness and harshness to it that was missing from her campaign.

@SteveLN6 @BrentColman By “perception of power and strength” you mean “a man” right? Because Kamala was VP, which is a more powerful position to run for President, and a former prosecutor who gave a strong performance at the debate which led to Trump refusing to do anymore, as a result.

@K3ys3r__s0z3 @BrettPhenom @BrentColman Kamala was an AG and Senator from California and it was one of lowest talking points against her from the Trump campaign. They realized early it’s not something people can contextualize or even care too much about.

@BrettPhenom @SteveLN6 @BrentColman Exactly this. I think people seem to forget how unpopular California is to the rest of the country. Like were all jealous of the climate but how that states ran is looked at as a joke to everyone else. He would do worse than Harris I believe. Hes like the Democrat Desantis

As a Californian, Newsom is an evil psychopathic demon who feeds on the blood of Republicans. I despise everything about him and cannot wait for the day I get to vote for him as president. He may be a psycho but he's our psycho.
Pop Base@PopBase

California governor Gavin Newsom has called for a legislative special session to help protect the state’s policies on climate change, reproductive rights and immigration ahead of Trump’s second Presidency.

@iamMelsmith It’s Newsom, always has been. He’s the most Trumpian figure in the Democratic Party by a wide margin and he would have won had he run. Put him against Vance and the difference is stark.

I’m not going to pretend that Bernie’s idea aren’t bigger and more popular than him as a candidate. But you’re lying to yourself if you saw the results of this election and thought Americans would ever elect Bernie Sanders or anyone close to his ideas on society and economy.
Bernie Sanders@BernieSanders

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.
