Yesterday I set sail on a golf journey that will take me and a group of guys through 7 days, 8 golf courses in 3 states (West Virginia, Kentucky & Missouri). I wanted to name this “golf trip” but have yet to think of anything. But I’m sure it will come. Hopefully, I survive and you follow along with this thread as I document our journey through the best of times and the worst of times that playing the game of golf always brings. As I watched my daughter's season end last night at the Regional Championship I reflected on what a successful career she had at Ripley High School. She ended up with over 1600+ career points, became the all time leading scorer at Ripley, a trip to the state Tournament and got to play in front of a community that gave so much support to her. Although a chapter is closing I am looking forward to her next chapter at the collegiate level. It sure does go by fast so I am definitely going to soak up the next 4 years.
