@StevePenk @scottmyers_uk We have been staying at Dukes Hotel. just along from Fairmont, where we stayed 2 years. Our Hotel rocked from the explosion last Saturday so can only imagine what you went through, Steve.
Agree, UK government, BA have been a disgrace. Hope you get back ok

@StevePenk Yer I was at a restaurant about half a mile away and seen it hit. The noise was bad there so must have been crazy loud for you. UK Government have been laughable.

Communication and help from UK Government and British Airways has been utterly pitiful, astonishing really.

I'm in a villa about 15 mins away from the Marina but it sounds like you've had a much harder time than we have. Hope you get home safe soon?

The quality mark of any business is how well they handle things in a crisis and BA have been disappointing and quite frankly, terrible.

@StevePenk It’s not just Dubai. People are stuck in Thailand like my son who had a flight departing with Qatar through Doha. Many people unable to get home due to highly inflated price hikes and limited spaces. Qatar are not re routing and have no obligation to pay for passengers hotel cost
