Athletic trainers don’t get an offseason and they rarely get a break. While others reset, they’re still showing up, putting athletes first every single day. Too often, “they get lost in the sauce.” @WacoISD is changing that by scheduling meetings, staying connected, and making sure their trainers are seen, supported, and valued. Because supporting those who care for athletes isn’t optional, it’s necessary.

@eavoss I don’t think he lost count, I believe Dr. Strange changed it another time (not aloud) so he could remember as well. I think he felt it would be important for him to remember, especially since he would know the other 14+ million outcomes.

@eavoss Dr. Strange will remember Spiderman is Peter Parker. My theory: In Spiderman No Way Home when he and Dr. Strange are together creating the spell, when Peter keeps wanting the spell changed. Dr. Strange says you changed my spell 6 times and Peter corrects him to say 5.

Today if you searched the Deadly Games database for Kentucky athletes, you'd find just one death in the 1990s. Tomorrow that will change. Here's why. #SaferSidelines🧵

Your teen athlete should be eating two breakfasts daily. This can be as simple as: -Eggs + orange -PB banana toast -Breakfast burrito + Apple -Greek yogurt parfait -Protein waffle + peaches Candy bars, Takis and Celsius are not healthy. Your kids need nutrients to properly grow, develop and thrive. You are the parent. Lack of focus and behavioral issues are related to poor nutrition, lack of sleep, and excess screen time. Please ensure they have what they need to be successful. As the parent it’s your job to discipline them. Bad habits will carry into adulthood.

Tonight we celebrated our athletic trainers, and I don’t think we say it enough… we are incredibly fortunate to have this group. They’re the first ones in and the last ones out. They tape ankles before the sun comes up, manage injuries behind the scenes, calm nerves on the sideline, and take care of our kids when they’re at their most vulnerable. A lot of what they do never gets applause, but our programs don’t function without them. To our seniors — thank you. You’ve set a standard of professionalism, toughness, and care that will last long after you graduate. You’ve served your teammates with pride, and that matters. We’re lucky. And we’re grateful @KleinAthletics

This kid’s message should be heard by every high school and college kid in the country! He’s spot on and many will not listen due to their ego and pride. Too many will get left behind! Great message!

I am not ashamed of my journey. My life will be a testimony. But if I could offer a word of advice to any freshman, sophomore or junior athlete in high school it would be to just listen bro. All them adults in your life not just talking to talk. They been here longer. They done bumped they head already. They trying to save you from doing the same thing. Do not make the mistake of thinking your talent alone is enough. It’s not. Talent open doors. Character and grades keep you there. And if you already messed up, if your GPA not where it should be, if your name been in rooms for the wrong reasons… don’t quit. Keep digging. You can climb out the hole the same way you dug it. Class of 29, 28 and 27 hear me. Take your grades serious.
Choose who you hang around wisely.
Protect your name. Word spreads fast if you a crash out.
Respect authority. Nobody riding for you like your parents and coaches.
Work hard when nobody clapping. Do not wait until senior year to lock in. That GPA do not lie. I’m still figuring it out myself. I’m struggling but I know God got me. Be intentional.
Lock in early. Pray. Show up ready to work. I’m learning the hard way that my future is being built in the small decisions I make today. Start now.
