It's important to remember that key to these shots was the paperwork. So much going on, the detailed spreadsheets saved the sanity of the artists who made this.

The space portions for the Battle of Endor at the end of Return of the Jedi are honestly still nothing short of an achievement. Every single shot is so complex. I’ll forever be blown away by how time and effort went into bringing this battle to life. Such a wonderful blend of practical and digital effects.
