FT: Horley Town 4-2 @FCFleetTown
𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗬𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘 📈🏆
Goals from Abs, Arlie, Ash and Pearchy alongside a phenomenal performance from each & every single player seals promotion to The @IsthmianLeague for the first time in our HISTORY!!
This special team will go down in history for what they’ve achieved today. Immortalised forever. Back-to-back away wins to secure promotion. Road warriors.
Let it sink in - in our 130th centenary year, Horley Town will be playing Step 4 football 🤩🏆

However you look at it, this Pepi saga is just typical us, and our own downfalls yet again. Knowing PSV wanted a replacement, why push the deal and agree a fee right up until the last couple of days? Knew we’d only get one in, just typical @TonyKhan behaviour, again #ffc
The FA has written to Crystal Palace and Macclesfield to stop the Premier League side from handing their share of FA Cup gate receipts to the non-League club.

@gbarber117@MersthamFC1892 We went to 5 schools giving free entrance. A lot was taken up 902 was an accurate count . If you doubt it we can give you the proof but then again you most probably can’t count. You come across as someone who wishes there club could do what we have
Today’s player of the game is @James_Dillon16, who is sponsored by Harry Castell.
Some fine saves kept us in the game, though we sadly couldn’t get that all important equaliser.
Presented by Peter from Kings Creative Kitchens.
A really enjoyable game, against the only team to do the double over us last season.
A lot of good performances but @samking_1 the difference for me, superb from him, big threat.
Teaching kids football all week, then put a fantastic shift in today 🧡🖤

🦞Club Statement🦞
Club Update
We were reported to the @ComCoFL by Jersey Bulls after the final game of the season, triggering an investigation into playing an ineligible player in December 2024.
We have been working closely with both the FA and League to assist them in their investigations. The ineligibility of the player arose from receiving 5 cautions before the 31st December cut-off date, however only 4 were entered in Whole Game System when we checked. Whole Game System is the system we are required to manage discipline within.
Our case was heard on 2 May by the FA, and we were found guilty; the matter was then passed on to the Combined Counties League. We submitted our Plea of Mitigation to the League late Tuesday evening and our hearing took place this afternoon. The League found against us and will proceed to issue points deduction and fine; we await their correspondence.
As a club, we feel we had 'exceptional' circumstances due to the omission of a match official to update the Whole Game System with cautions. As it stands today, the player in question is still only showing 4 cautions before the 31st of December, and has not been processed for a 5th caution in October, which would have taken him over the threshold to receive an automatic 1-match suspension in December.
We would once again like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to our players, the management team, Committee members, volunteers, sponsors, and, most importantly, our incredible Lobsters Army for their patience and understanding during this process.
@JClark_8 and the players will now turn their focus to preparing for the Play Offs while the club considers its next actions and whether we will be submitting an appeal.

@SittingbourneFC Trouble is you thought you won the final on Tuesday against Merstham in the way you celebrated. You forgot that you had another game to play. Well done The Hill for playing the game the way it should be. Football is the winner.

They might not have the @comcofl trophy just yet but I think the @redhillfc management team enjoyed @CPenny_’s goal that (probably) won the Lobsters the Premier South title 👀😂
A nice afternoon at the WMMartin Community Library.
Best team won, no doubt, Ramsgate fully deserving of the win.
Behaviour of some of their kids at the end an absolute disgrace. Banter one thing, but this went far beyond that.
We go again Tuesday 🧡🖤
