@greateranglia But the link doesn't provide "More info", although I'm sure plenty of passengers would like to know the justification for the engineering works and disruption to their travel plans
🚧 Engineering Works 🚧
📍Audley End / Stansted Airport/Hertford East to Broxbourne
📅Saturday, 28 February 2026 to Sunday, 1 March 2026
📢Buses replace trains between Audley End / Stansted Airport and Waltham Cross as well as between Hertford East and Broxbourne
More info👇🏽
⚠️Due to a burst water main near the railway at #RyeHouse all lines are blocked.
❗Train services running through this station may be cancelled or revised.
⌚Disruption is expected until 23:00 19/12.
@Herts_Highways Why aren't you posting on Facebook? That has much more reach that Twitter and would be a lot more helpful. It would also be helpful if you posted about the heavy congestion in Hertford town centre due to unscheduled roadworks at Old Cross.
@duolingo Never got a message about my Superduolingo trial expiring and now I've been charged. Very unhappy. Invoice from Apple only arrived three days later 🤬
@A5hTriX@NicholasLissack@Keir_Starmer Notice the names still are missing. Wonder why that is. Maybe they might tell us something that the BBC and the UK government doesn’t like to? Kinda like gangs of similar named folks raping little girls en masse for over a decade.
Police say the Huntingdon train attackers are a 32-year-old black British man and a 35-year-old of Caribbean descent.
They insist it isn’t terrorism.
But let’s be honest: if you storm a train and carry out a mass stabbing on innocent people, you’re a terrorist. Simple as that.

@Steve_Beeston Hi Steve, fewer trains can run between Cheshunt, Seven Sisters & London. Therefore a shuttle Hertford-Broxbourne. This is due to planned engineering work closing all lines between Waltham Cross & Northumberland Park. -Harry
@LidlGB Edinburgh Way, Harlow. Another prime example of the kind of poor management seen across so many of the company's stores. A desperate shortage of both trolleys and baskets and staff that couldn't care less.
@sharrond62 The pool is financially viable? Please point me to the source for this information. And FYI the pool is owned by Fanshawe School, not the council. If the school choose to close the pool, what are the council supposed to do?
Come on East Herts District Council! Please save Fanshawe Pool for the people of Ware and surrounding villages. Swimming is a critical life skill and pools are essential for healthy lifestyle choices. The pool is financially viable so what's stopping you?"
The list of land put forward in the call for sites for development which closed end of Sept last year has been published on the East Herts Council website as part of a paper for the Council's Executive to consider next week - this needs a thorough look through. Of course it does not mean that every site put forward will be built on, what it does mean is that they are under consideration. It appears under item 9. Hertford Civic Society will review all the #Hertford sites. There are of course other items of wider interest in the papers. @ChrisDay96@I_LOVE_HERTFORD@LoveBengeodemocracy.eastherts.gov.uk/ieListDocument…

@bimlesh32366739@jackincincy@Telegraph It's not a safety feature if it kills people. Other airports don't have these. Many have speed arrestors. Having a concrete wall at the end of a runway is bordering on criminal.
