@rioferdy5 Mostly sad about the state of our club. Too many fingers pointing blame and not enough leadership. There are people in the organization who bleed for the shirt, but it feels as though the very fabric of the club, the soul of it, is being pulled apart slowly before our eyes.
In Florida til Friday visiting Jess and Ty. Been amazing to relax and disconnect a bit. I’ll be live for a special stream at some point this week but then I’ll be back to streams Monday morning ready for a big 2026. Hoping everyone is having the best Holidays!!
I desperately need a new game on the switch. I’m considering Palia, Hello Kitty Island, or Outer Wilds. Any input? I’ve already played/play stardew, animal crossing, dreamlight valley, fae farm.
@ManUtd The problem is systemic, and it begins with ownership and leadership. The players aren't terrible. New manager, not terrible. Club ethos, desire and commitment to making a championship culture at all levels of the club = terrible.
Back in the late 70's, my dad took me down to Seattle center for an open "camp" the Sonics were having for kids (I was 7 years old). Slick and Fred Brown were among the players, and when Slick saw that the bigger kids weren't passing me the ball, he pulled me aside and started working with me alone, and Fred Brown joined as well. The kindness he showed me is something I will never forget and have been passing along ever since.
Sad day. Slick Watts passed away. I didn't know him well, but he had one of the most exuberant personalities I'd ever met. If you were around Slick, you were laughing & hearing good stories. He'll be missed by this community that he enriched with his presence & Basketball Academy
