It’s okay to admit Brunson is elite offensively and still isn’t a #1 option on a title team due to his inability to defend at even an average level. Brunson would be an elite #2/3 on a title team. It just simply isn’t common to win titles with your best player being an undersized PG who hampers your defense as much as Brunson does. IT and Curry are just about the only two that have been able to do it and both are still better/more capable defenders than Brunson
