Destiny 2 would make an absolute killing giving us back all of our vaulted content (for free) and then giving us a £20 season pass based entirely on nostalgia. It’d be their biggest season, by miles, and it’d leave Destiny 2 in a position where they can stop updating it.

I got nothing against Marathon but I’m Destiny over any other fps shooter or looter shooter. This game help me feed my family, I’m not just gonna sit here and watch a corporate company bury it. Destiny can be very successful with the right investors. Trust.

The game was better and more engaging as a whole when people were forced to play PVP for endgame PVE gear and vice versa. (Talking about recluse, mountaintop and swarm of the raven basically)

So, jokes aside, to understand why the heat is worse in the UK than say Arizona for example, the answer is quite long... First it's the Humidity, it's far higher here. The UK's island location and prevailing south-westerly winds bring moist sea air, so heatwaves are often humid rather than dry. In contrast, many of the hottest US states (e.g., Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico) have dry desert heat where sweat evaporates quickly, so you actually feel cooler despite higher temperatures. Even humid US regions (like the Southeast) usually have widespread air conditioning to offset it. Second, the buildings and Infrastructure that we have all are designed to Trap Heat, not Release It. UK homes are built for cold, damp winters: thick brick/stone walls, heavy insulation, small windows, and designs that retain warmth. During a heatwave, they turn into ovens, solar gain through windows builds up, and there is poor ventilation or passive cooling features like overhangs, shutters, or light-coloured roofs. Plus, poor air conditioning: Only about 5% of UK homes have AC (vs. ~90% in the US). It's not standard because it's rarely needed most of the year, but during spikes it's a nightmare. Also, retrofitting is expensive and tricky in old terraced houses or listed buildings. This extended to public transport, schools, offices, and even hospitals as they often lack cooling. Finally, most importantly, we have zero acclimatisation. Meaning it's just as hot at night as it is during the day. Britons aren't physiologically or culturally used to sustained heat. We're properly white! So, a sudden jump from typical UK summer temps feels extreme, and the body struggles more without gradual adaptation. Heatwaves often bring "tropical nights" (temps staying above 20 °C), so homes don't cool down overnight. You can't sleep, recover, or anything which just compounds fatigue, dehydration, etc. Drier US heat often cools significantly at night. That is all topped up with the fact that we have longer summer daylight at the UK's higher latitude meaning more hours of solar heating. Hope this long explanation that no one wanted clears this right up...

What 24 year old these days is given the opportunity to be a show runner? I find it ironic that past generations complain that adults now 'act like kids' when that's how they're treated. You want adults, treat them like adults. Pay them properly, offer career advancement, and the ancient gnomes these companies call CEOs need to actually retire and get out of the way.

Destiny fans might not wanna hear it, but if you really want to see Bungie get a greenlight for Destiny 3 you should maybe support Marathon as opposed to shitting on it and review bombing it.

More than anything Bungie deserves it. They have a website page that is literally dedicated to listing out every piece of content from the game that players PAID FOR THAT THEY DELETED. Say what you will about WoW but in 22 years of being alive Blizzard has NEVER done anything like this.

@bumbadum14 Honestly the bungie pandered to influencers more than the average player, so influencers are somewhat responsible for elevating ineffective criticism. Good games need principalled developers, not fan service and catering to the top 1 percent.

I genuinely feel bad for the influencers who have attached their life to a game maintained by a company that simply hates them. Bungie has nothing but contempt for people like Datto and the playerbase. They have treated their customers like whipped fucking slaves for years. Hopefully Datto finds freedom in this, he deserves it.

@Stevejhuffman @bumbadum14 Many new players would like to go through and experience it letting them learn the story, and more of the game's universe, but when many people attempting to play (like me) learn that they have to read 3 expansions worth of content/story they don't even bother trying it at all

@Jae__x69 @bumbadum14 I was more referring to activities such as the Curse of Osiris campaign (which was a nothing burger). As a rule of thumb all PVP maps, Strikes, and Raids should 1000% be in the game.
