@peteygrows @garyvee I get your point but it’s well known PSA 10s can bring 2x-3x in some cases more to a card. As much as I don’t want to pay an up charge I’m happy to if a true value is $10k+ as anyone I think would 🤷‍♂️

@StevenBaumer93 @garyvee Simply ask them for evidence of their pricing. If they are able to show proof of sale of a 10 GM Erupt card selling at that price. They clearly have no evidence. So you shouldn’t be ripped off like that.

Appreciate all the feedback! Just to clarify, I wasn’t complaining, this is my first PSA upcharge. As much as it sucks to pay, I’m happy to because I believe PSA adds real value. The post was also meant to grab some attention to these Erupt VeeFriends Cards 👀 📈

@JCourageFIT Well hindsight is 20/20 .. didn’t realize CGC was the way to go for non-sports card.. I get the frustration with the up charge but for value it’s well known in the market PSA is the way to go 🤷‍♂️ oh well at this point, but happy with the outcome and can’t wait to have in hand!

PSA is insane. Just auto up-charging customers and making up values on cards based on what? Not reality clearly This is why I’ve stopped using them altogether for my VeeFriends products. And a CGC 10 and PSA 10 fetch the same value. So why would anyone use PSA for VeeFriends at this point?

@slabfactory_ty Amen.. PC’s send them where you want which is BGS or CGC for me.. but yes in return I’m sorry but PSA 10’s prove they dominate the market

For those who want to get hung up on the fairness of upcharges, genuinely I have no argument for why you shouldn’t other than life’s not fair, that’s capitalism, etc. - but I will still send my cards to where the greatest ROI exists whenever I can. I won’t get hung up on that.

@dolodood @T1MLivingston Tough to say really.. raw sells for $4k-$5k and a Gem Mint PSA 10 can increase the value 2x-3x 🤷‍♂️

So if you card grades well, and is valued high, PSA just says fuck you, pay me? Super lame
