A police officer based in London faces charges of rape, attempted rape, and multiple other sexual offences. PC Jabul Islam, 37, is accused of two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, assault by penetration, and causing a female to engage in sexual activity. Notice how Muslims have zero issues with Christians taking over Trafalgar Square today? The triple lock is honestly one of the worst policies ever thought of. Many of the people who say the benefits bill is too high are the ones making up 48% of it. That’s £150.7 billion so people who had the easiest housing ladder, the best savings rates and the best private pension rates can get a bigger pension than they ever paid in for. It’s a joke of a policy and I wholeheartedly disagree with it.

The state pension is a joke, pensioners in an ideal world actually deserve more but we don't live in an ideal world, we live in a world where decisions have consequences and trade-offs need to be made. The economy is lethargic. Taxes, debt repayments and welfare spending are consuming an ever increasing amount of the countries productivity. The public finances are on a unsustainable footing. Keep on scapegoating immigrants or billionaires (depending on your political leaning) as much as you like. The truth is there is a need for a fundamental reshaping of the way government taxes and spends if this country is going to have future. That includes scrapping the triple lock, reforming the NHS, massively reducing the benefits bill and kick starting growth by creating powerful incentives to work, invest and start businesses. No political party at the moment is willing to make the tough decisions needed to get the country back on track. The UK, as things stand, will continue to experience economic stagnation with the ever present risk of collapse.
