I don't know why I was the only one willing to engage in tonight's debate prompt so skillfully laid out by David Wood. I thought his audience said I wouldn't? Yet I won it in less than 30 mins. Tsk tsk.

They will never debate Jay because Jay is actually a competent debater who understands his own faith and can defend it properly, at least in comparison to these guys. Apostate Prophet debated Jake knowing full well he was going to get cooked on Christianity, and he clearly did not care, because for him the goal was never defending Christianity in the first place. The goal was simply getting another opportunity to attack Islam. The same thing happened with me. He debated me on Islam immediately, yet when it came time for a second debate where he actually had to defend Christianity, he ran from it for MONTHS before finally agreeing. And even then, that is not some redeeming point in his favour. If he struggled against Jake on philosophy, he would struggle even harder against someone pressing him directly on scripture and textual issues. I ended up not debating him for integrity reasons,something these guys don’t have. That is the fundamental problem here, these people care more about money, audience perception, and maintaining their platform than they do about seriously defending their own faith tradition. Christianity for them is just a medium through which to attack Islam, rather than something they have deeply studied or truly believe in. David Wood is another example of this. He presents himself as a Christian defender, yet when it comes to actually defending difficult biblical passages or engaging deeper theological issues, he consistently leans on others like Sam Shamoun. Just watch his videos defending christianity they’re TRASH He has clearly not spent the same level of time studying Christian metaphysics, scripture, or textual problems in depth himself.

Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God? Here's the strongest argument that they do, and I almost never see anyone deal with it. Christians and Muslims DISAGREE about God. Christians say God is triune. Muslims say He's not. That looks like a straightforward contradiction. But here's the thing: disagreement is only possible if you're talking about the same subject. If I say "Jones is tall" and you say "Jones is short," we're only disagreeing if we mean the same Jones. If we're talking about two different guys who happen to share a similar name or title, there's no actual disagreement at all. Just two unrelated claims. So if Christians and Muslims DON'T worship the same God, then they don't actually disagree. They're just making separate claims about separate beings. But that's absurd, of course they disagree. And it gets worse. Ancient Israelites before Christ weren't Trinitarians. But almost no Christian wants to say the Old Testament prophets worshipped a different God. So now you need to explain: what metaphysical rupture happened between ancient Israel and 7th-century Arabia that broke the chain in one case but not the other? Good luck drawing that line without it looking completely arbitrary. The real answer is that Christians and Muslims refer to the same being, the one creator God of Abraham, and disagree about His nature.

A pastor says we serve different Gods. But pause for a second. Who created all of us? If there is truly one Creator, then the difference is not who we are reaching, it is how people try to reach Him. Even those who bow to idols don’t believe the wood or stone is God. They see it as a channel, a middle point to something higher. So the real conversation is not about “different Gods”. It is about understanding, direction, and method. One Creator. Different paths people chose. Now the real question is: which path actually reflects the truth about Him?
