Was behind the idea of 4-2-2-2 but starting to have doubts now. The idea that Youssef Chermiti is much better with a partner feels a bit like a myth and Rangers just don’t seem to do enough with the ball in midfield. Might be time for Danny Rohl to change the shape.

Never in doubt 😬 We’re absolutely awful - cannot let a win get away from that. Djiga and Fernandez were solid all day, Rommens did alright for the goal and I thought Raskin at times done a lot of things right, but attacking wise.. deary me. You cannot watch us and get inspired that they could push on from here BUT… all things considered it’s been a good weekend and we’re now only three points behind. Fuck knows how.

Hard to take any real positives from that apart from the win. Rangers looked so slow, too many unclear in their roles and far too many key players were done by 60-70 minutes again. No intensity, no real desire and we completely lost control of the second half. 3pts is 3pts 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not a great watch but at the same time, never a game Rangers looked like losing either

@IainMitchell17 Are you sure he’s not told them to sit off and contain? He’s done it away to Hibs, Motherwell and then it happened today. That’s not a one off either. Every single time we struggle to press against Celtic because we are scared. It’s absolutely awful.

🧵 A thread of me ranting since I’m still as annoyed now hours later as I was at full time. I really don’t know who I blame that second half on. The last forty minutes was managed terribly, but was that managed from the sidelines terribly or by the players on the pitch? Danny Rohl got asked about mentality in the press conference and sort of bypassed the question - probably to be expected as he isn’t going to call out players and question their mentality when he needs them to be with him for the next few months. But, there is no way he’s told them to sit off in that second half or to stop attacking, to drop deeper and deeper… it just wouldn’t make sense.

I would be surprised if this is one Rangers pulled off today but Jens Hjertø-Dahl will be an incredible signing for someone.
