Dear me @BBCBreakfast the Burns Night segment was dreadful, even insulting. We learned nothing about Burns and why the day is special to some. Segment producer needs talking to. Poor research. Guests had no depth of knowledge. Either cover the subject properly or not at all.

Such low pressure, but no forecast for rain. Can the pressure ever be too low for rain, or is this anything to do with climate change? I just don’t know.

Great to see #Ziggy50 this evening. Bowie was always amazing and the last Ziggy show was historic. Rarely attend events these days but wouldn’t have missed this one.

If an independent fuel station in SW Scotland can profit from these prices then what kind of (huge) profit are all the other retailers making at the moment?

Greatest Hits Radio made a wise investment hiring Ken Bruce. The guy Radio2 rightfully trusted to take over the breakfast show from the legendary Wogan. Just hope Ken has the rights to take PopMaster with him. I’ve loved playing along every morning and learn so much. Bye Radio2.

Well Autumn has gotten off to a stunning start here in Southern Scotland. Saw this fallen leaf outside my office and pondered the change of season, recalling memories of childhood Autumns long ago.

@usjag_18 Many describe suddenly sobbing and not understanding where that emotion came from. Felt a lump in my throat and my voice cracked as I told my wife the news that the Queen had died. Strange period of transition but hopefully not flux.
