Another tactico misconception flying about that Zubi is good in the pockets He's v clearly not. He's decent at it. Like most other high quality 6s and pivot midfielders What makes him slightly better higher up the pitch than most 6s is his high football IQ. Can spot and attack space much better than someone like Rodri for example But he's nowhere near good enough to be a starting 8/half 8 for an elite side. Which is ok. He was bought to be a 6 and hopefully with more time in the league he will be worth the investment Even Xhaka, who is both slower and stiffer than Zubi (and Rice) is better in the pockets
