MSD Update According to Cal Twomey, we are considering promoting someone from within our VFL program this MSD. Mutaz El Nour, Sam Toner, Ned Renfree & Zaydyn Lockwood are the players in consideration. Personally, all roads lead to El Nour if I had to choose. #GoTiges

@RFC_Centre @ShaneSammy1 100% agree we need a key defender. Just think El Nour’s lack of size will work against him in AFL. Similar to the Doggies Buku Khamis who has had bags kicked against him against the big boys.

@ShaneSammy1 @StewieAndrew We had Miller, Young, Balta, Gray, Gibcus & even Blight on the list. There was no room. Fast forward to this year; Blight - delisted Young - traded Gibcus - injured again Balta - changed positions We only have Miller & Gray left as key backs. It’s a necessity.

@RFC_Centre He’s a hybrid defender in the Broad mould, not a key defender. He would get monstered in the AFL by key forwards.

I’m sure both players will be very good. But will Richmond regret not selecting Robey with at least one of their picks last year? He’s a genuine beast at 18 with great skills and footy smarts to go with it.
